Manager asked us to leave common space for a private party. We only wanted to enjoy the living room for a few minutes. It was a bit rude as we traveled across the globe to experience the hotel. The amount of small flies at night that stormed the room were astonishing!

The grounds were beautiful. There were many fun activities to partake in during our short stay. The breakfast was quite delicious and the women preparing it were also very lovely.

Massage wasn’t the highest quality like one would expect at a place like this. Was ok.

We had a ground floor room, the room above was quite noisy - they could do with some sound proofing.

Stunning views, service and accommodation was amazing, food was lovely, breakfast was fab. Close to town and the sea.

When the car park in front of the hotel is full, there is an extra car park but this one is small and not very convenient to manœuvre

All was perfect: the view, the room, the living room... The house is charming and the personnel is very nice. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner was served in a very warm setting.

Exceptional location, service, with friendly welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in New Zealand. Everything was immaculate and so well done. Getting to pet the ponies and sheep and donkeys while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake was a bonus!

Staff was wonderful, the breakfast was made to order with lots of extras. We had dinner there one evening and it in was superb with a lovely wine list. Cannot beat the views. Recommend booking a massage!

Nice location on the lake not far from attractions in and near Rotorua. Excellent staff and restaurant. Able to charge EV at property.

Everything. Perfect location. Amazing views. Everyone at the hotel made you feel special. Leanne was amazing and her daughter too. Helped us with a few things and went out of their way.

The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and there were many options. Views from the room over the lake are spectacular.

The food was amazing at dinner and breakfast. To come home at end of the day to a warm room with the bed turned down and a soap on the bed was a lovely extra touch. The DVD/book room was a nice touch and we watched a movie from the collection one evening.

Not sound proofed. Can hear people in next room, creaking floorboards as people walk by or use the stairs outside the room. Going a little too far with the markup on alcohol in the restaurant.

Good shower with heated floor and mirror in bathroom. Very spacious. Super comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner very nice. Feeding the local sheep and donkeys!!

Peppers was a perfect setting for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Staff, especially the breakfast crew were amazing in helping map our way through local attractions. The premises and our suite were maintained with the highest standard of cleanliness.

One of the unique selling points of our last visit was the 4 course dinner with chance for pre dinner canapés with other diners which was a lovely opportunity to chat with other guests making it more of a “ house party “ atmosphere. We missed that element this time

This was a repeat visit for us after 6 years. We even had same cottage. The views, service, food and wine are wonderful. A real treat

Peppers is a tranquil escape and a beautiful property. The chef did a wonderful job with the food both at breakfast (the best of our tour of 6 weeks) and dinner. The staff are helpful and ensure your stay is comfortable. We truly enjoyed the entire property and exploring the area's thermal features.

It was perfect.

We loved our cottage on the shores of Lake Rotorua. it was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were so efficient and very friendly - they assisted with luggage as there were a few steps. The hot tub on the deck was a great after dinner treat! The views were amazing!

Although the main house and rooms were large, clean, comfortable with all the amenities, suggest some renovations to bring facilities up to date

Beautiful grounds, great view! loved the sheep, donkeys and miniature ponies that were roaming the groumds

Noise travels a bit to the room from downstairs and you don’t have absolute privacy on the terrace with day guests around and staff working on the lawns etc.
