Superb quiet location and privacy. Forested garden all to myself. Superb breakfast and afternoon tea brought to my room! Homemade delights! Exceptional friendly host.

Absolutely wonderful weekend had. Our host was great. Punga Lodge was perfect for us. We love the outlook our room was warm and Cosy. The breakfast and afternoon teas were above average in every way . Taste and presentation were exceptionally good. Will deffernitly stay again 100%

Very close to all shops and has secured parking space. They are very nice and accommodating. we arrived early to drop our stuff and then come back to check in. Dyan gave us cakes that are really delicious. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!

Convenient location for little Oneroa beach. The chalet was warmed up before we arrived which was great on a rainy day. Good room set up for a family. Great added touch of hand delivered afternoon tea which the kids loved! Family run and Dyan was so kind and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The lovely hosts greeted me on arrival with a very warm welcome. The studio was much larger than I expected with a well equipped kitchen, comfortably furnished, a cosy heater for the winter and exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast was generous and the homemade muesli delicious. Then there was the complimentary afternoon tea! A selection of absolutely divine treats freshly baked each day available in the dining area or brought to your room if you preferred. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the main village and the choice of two stunning beaches. I absolutely loved my stay at Punga lodge and would highly recommend it, excellent value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay in Punga Lodge. The proprietar went out of her way to make us feel very welcome during our stay. Home baking and hottub were highlights. I'd recommend to anyone that takes enjoyment from the simpler things in life

The lodge itself is a bit dated and so if you are looking for a place with a modern look and feel, spacious bathrooms etc, this won't be it. You know what you are getting from the pictures and this location and host provide exceptional value for money so really hard to complain about anything.

We stayed in the self-contained Cabin and it was wonderful. The location is excellent (short walk to the main township and on the main bus route) and the lodge itself is set amongst some beautiful native bush. Private and secure. The real highlight, however, was our host Dyan. She is so friendly, warm, helpful and an exceptional baker which meant we always looked forward to the complementary afternoon sweet treats that she whips up in her kitchen. We really couldn't believe that she doesn't have her own bakery or sell her food, as it's so good! You can say that Dyan loves what she is doing and the entire experience and stay is elevated because of her. Dyan even allowed us to take our time checking out as we were on a later ferry, which we very much appreciated.

Extremely clean and tidy. Fresh bed sheets. Toilet and shower pressure were good. Afternoon Tea was a delightful treat. Friendly and welcoming staff especially Claire will have a chat and it shows she really enjoys being there. Bus stop close by and quick walk to the main shops/beach. Good quality toilet paper, towels, tea coffee sugar, shampoo conditioner soap provided.

The facility is needing some tender loving care and the overall location and site during heavy rain makes the steps and the stairs in the driveway a health and safety issue without handrails.

Lovely place. We stayed in the garden room so very peaceful looking onto beautiful native bush. The room was very clean and comfortable with its own small private deck.
