Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandOverpriced for what it was. The hotel was dated, the toilet didn’t flush well and the TV was constantly blurry and pixels. We didn’t see any other guests in the hotel but were still told we couldn’t change rooms.
The location was ideal for what we needed, WIFI worked well and the staff were friendly.

New ZealandNo modern TV services. only one set if towels per person. There was a slight draft but didn't know where it was coming from. If I was on my own I would not have been warm with the blankets provided. There was only 3 pillows for 2 people.
I got what I paid for. But it meet my needs and I am grateful. It is very out dated. But it was clean and tidy. Very central to everything.

New ZealandThe facilities are very dated, carpet and curtains threadbare in places. 1970's styling. Room was large. Wardrobe had no doors. Heating inadequate with a low cost plug in heater. One over bed light didn't work. Waste water coming up through bathroom drain is a health hazard.
Clean facilities.The bath was nice to relax in but when emptied soapsuds came up through the central floor drain indicating drainage issues.
