We were impressed by the beautifully presented gardens on arrival and also the high quality of the accomodation. Our room had a very comfy bed, clean bathroom and lovely outdoor area where we could enjoy the garden views. Breakfast was delicious with the extra touch of homemade bread and muffins. We would highly recommend Riverton to everyone.

A beautiful place, everything well maintained and it was so nice and quiet. The room had a view to the garden and outdoor seating. Breakfast was delicious and our host was lovely. She took really good care of us.

We felt very welcomed, what a lovely spot they have there. Everything is catered for with attention to detail. I was spoilt as I am gluten free and I was treated to home baking 🙂. The breakfast was really delicious and the icing on the cake was the music chosen especially for us when we sat down to eat. Thoroughly recommend 👌

There is nothing in that place I didn't like.

The bedroom and bathroom were perhaps a little tight on space but not a problem.

Beautiful, quiet location with lovely gardens and long distance views. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Welcoming and friendly hosts.

Craig and Tammy went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing stay! We loved the gardens and beautiful views. The bed was comfy and facilities were 5 star. The breakfast was delicious. There were so many choices. We were very grateful for the daily fresh avocados.

Such an amazing gem!! Loved our stay here and was everything we expected. The hosts are super friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast spread was delicious with a lot of choices and served avo’s that are grown on the farm (stunning!) Will definitely be staying again.

We liked everything about Ridgeton.

Stayed at Ridgeton over Labour Weekend to attend a family wedding nearby. Exquisite property with beautiful grounds all maintained by Craig and Tammy. Beautifully clean appointed rooms with every amenity catered for including a jar of biscuits to have with tea and coffee and a chocolate on your pillow on arrival. There is a kitchen at the end of the hallway with plates, cutlery and glasses for guests to heat up food in a microwave if required. Breakfast is well catered for all tastes (no special diets) including a selection of cereals and fruit, plus pasteries, toast and fancy breads. Coffee or tea is also available and delivered by your hosts. If you are looking for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Ridgeton is the place to stay with the tranquility and peace of the countryside. Would highly recommend.

Can't think of a thing except we didn't stay long enough :-)

We booked this B&B just a few days before arriving in New Zealand. It was a surprise to see such a beautiful place. It is is in the country with amazing views of the Bay of Plenty, surrounded by pasture land and their avocado grove. The landscaping is gorgeous ( all kept up by the hostesses we found out ). we were warming greeted and shown to a wonderful room with the view of garden and sea. There is a kitchen facility available. Everything is new, modern yet very homey and comfortable. Craig and Tammy are so very friendly and serve up a fine breakfast!

We booked 2 rooms but had the entire ground floor for ourselves. This surely has got to be one of the top properties we have stayed at. everything about the place is simply perfect. Extremely beautiful house on top of Avo orchard, exceptionally clean there is literally no spot anywhere in the house, very good hospitality, Breakfast spread was lovely, delicious and plentiful with choices of Bread, Pastry, Cut fruits, muesli, yoghurt, juices and cereals..they even played Indian music in the background for us during breakfast which was such a great personal touch. Think no further and book this up :)

Nothing - once you notice the level of attention paid to details you'll understand there isn't anything to dislike.

Visited earlier this week and all was perfectly in order - a great location, great host and an exceptionally nice house to be staying at. The owners have tended to all details in and around the house (which is on his avocado yard/plantation) - it simply is better than a 5 star hotel, Ridgeton is a luxury yacht on land.
