Hard to imagine. This is our go to when staying anyway in the vicinity.

Staying again because we liked it so much. Setting is fantastic. Room provision is opposite of minimal (though didnt have hot chocolate). Quality fittings and bed squeak fixed.

One slat on the bed was a bit creaky but it did not disturb us.

Waking up to bird song instead of traffic noise. Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Everything about the room was nice from the duck-themed decor, to the consumables, to the crockery - the opposite of motel minimalism and cheap over-packaged consumables. The kitchen was well-equipped and would be comfortable for an extended self-catered stay. Bathrobes in the bathroom! It would be our first choice for a return visit.

It didn't bother us as were only staying one night, but it we had been staying several nights the absence of a dishwasher may have been a bit inconvenient

The location was very close to central Geraldine, only a 2 minute drive. The unit was very clean, warm and welcoming, with lots of thoughtful touches such as being preheated for us with the heatpump going, a plate of biscuits on the bench, plenty of milk in the fridge, and two lovely soft dressing gowns provided in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We were impressed that a full kitchen and even a washing machine was provided. The décor was very unique, a charming mix of country cottage core, with extensive duck decorations 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

Very Cosy and homely, Extremely Clean, High-quality linens, towels, toiletries, & necessities. Excellent furnishings with modern country decor...much nicer than the pictures depicted on booking platform. Has literally everything we need ! ...even washing machine. Host was also v.friendly, welcoming, hospitable & generous. V.Highly recommended, and certainly good value for $$. Would have stayed longer had we known. Rating 12/10 !!

The location was perfect for us since we were travelling from Central Otago to North Canterbury. We arrived a little later than planned, however, all was well. The annex has excellent facilities and we cooked at the property - it had comprehensive cooking facilities. Milk was provided for breakfast, which we had catered for. The studio was warm using the air conditioning, and very comfortable. Overall an excellent and enjoyable night's stay.

The host, Ricky, met us on arrival, and was very welcoming, and helpful. The unit was very comfortable, well appointed...and included fresh home-made cookies, plunger coffee, a range of teas etc. A lovely quiet rural location, but very close to town. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've booked again for next year!
