Loved the view, location, bed. It was comfortable and tidy.

The Fire wasn't working and there was only a microwave for cooking.

We had a great stay in Jane’s apartment. The location by the sea was beautiful and we were treated to glorious sunrises over the water. It’s well positioned for visiting both ends of Golden Bay - from kayaking at Tata Beach to visiting the seal pups at the stunning Wharariki Beach. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay, with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The outdoor space was great and we made good use of the bbq and deck areas. Jane’s garden was a dream for our kids (and much fun was had playing with the dogs) and taking in the sunset in the hot tub was a highlight. Jane and family were welcoming and accommodating. Thank you so much!

everything exceeded our expectations

Great location. Adequate facilities, but it was Robin who made us feel so welcome and very caring when we unfortunately became ill from our travels. A peaceful place to rest up.

During our car trip through the South Island to show my parents the sights, we spent our final two nights at Jane's marvelous place. The setting is peaceful, beautiful, and quiet. Jane and her husband were exceptionally welcoming and kind hosts. I couldn't recommend their place more highly.

Hosts weren’t on site and were difficult to get ahold of, making payment especially difficult and complicated.

Good location for anyone wanting to explore Golden Bay. Two private outdoor areas, one with BBQ. Well sized fridge/freezer. Clean bathroom, large shower. Salt and pepper in kitchenette. Aircon in living area. Beach towels provided - lovely. Beautiful setting, appx 100 metres from the ocean. Swing seats close to water. Plenty of room for outdoor activities. Quiet.place.

No smoke alarms. Cobwebs hanging off bedside tables. No ventilation and no netting over single glazed windows and doors. Bathroom door non lockable and situated next to kitchenette. Poor waterpressure in shower. Hot water scalding. Handles on window in bedroom broken - window could not be secured. Floor tiles in living area broken and covered by mat. Barstools very uncomfortable wooden slats. Kitchenware bare minimum. Only metal utensils though non stick frying pan. Spa pool not chlorinated and smelly. Only two chairs for breakfast settee outside kitchenette.

Great place to stay, wonderful location. Easy access to beach . It was good to have a private outdoor area and BBQ. Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of kitchen ware / bbq tools. Also was great having a spa, trampoline and huge grass area for children to play. The water was nice and hot with good water pressure in the shower.

The only things I would change is the lounge seating wasn't very comfortable after a long day of walking. It's a small space but would be nice to have chairs that are a little more relaxing. Also, it would be great to have a clothes rack or outside line to hang wet togs, wet towels, etc. Otherwise very happy with our stay.

The location is unbeatable and the accommodation top notch. The hosts were wonderful, and we just wish we could have stayed!

Fantastic location and very comfortable and spacious.

No kitchen sink or ability to cook in the room, microwave/toaster/jug is all. Lucky we didnt have rain and we could cook on comunual BBQ.

Lovely little spot! Accomodation was very well appointed with everything we needed. Very quiet, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. We didn’t swim at the beach but it was nice for a walk down to in the mornings.

Spa pool wasn’t available which was a little disappointing. It would also be good to have a blind over the main door for privacy.
