Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dinner at the restaurant was exceptionally good, as well as the breakfast, very nicely presented. And the bar is a great place to have a drink!

AustraliaI always love a soft, fluffy towel! A bit of noise from the room next door air con overnight, but I guess that can’t be helped.
The view from my room with glimpses of the water was lovely. Comfy bed, nice room. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is well worth a visit for the view, food and lovely staff.

AustraliaFor the price the room could have been bigger, but I guess you're paying for the location and old world charm. They could do an edit of their decor though, it's a bit confronting having so many pictures of Captain Cook and the Queen, especially given the proximity to the treaty grounds.
The location is excellent and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable, if not a little small. Great restaurant downstairs as well.

A quick ferry trip from Paihia into another world. The food was amazing, the restaurant exquisite. The room was lush, the bed OMG so comfy. Just loved every minute of being there
