Room was warm on arrival. Lots of little extra's throughout the place. Plenty of space to spread out. Fascinating if you like a bit of old worldy memorabilia mixed with modern comforts.

The Old Vicarage was a beautiful villa that was very comfortable and located within a short walk to the town. Di was an excellent friendly host who corresponded quickly and also provided a wide range of food and drinks for our stay. The house had a easy to light wood burner and boosted water wall radiators and as a result was very warm. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a large bath and good powerful shower. We especially enjoyed the numerous photos, paintings, and ornaments throughout the house and also the TV with access to several main streaming services websites and also to a number of DVDs. We highly recommend this house.

Every single thing we like in a holiday BnB was there, beautifully decorated in a bygone era style with a comfortable bed, a great bath and shower, a wood fire, comfortable leather sofas

I wish that every place was up to this standard

It was a superb experience from start to finish....fire lighting...electric blanket and lovely relaxation area..host answered all queries even though we booked late in the day...great work...highly recommended and a beautiful town.

Everything was excellent.

The privacy as we had the place to ourselves. The ambiance as it was decorated in the original period furniture which just fit with the vib of the town. The location and especially the veranda overlooking the river and town beyond at sunset.

We absolutely loved our night. There was so many interesting things to see in the lounge. The bed was so comfy and we had a lovely walk along the river the next morning.

Loved everything. Perfect for a getaway. Wished we had longer there to enjoy the cozy fire & a great range of books Big comfy bed, a fantastic selection of breakfast food to choose from. Very close to the town, a short walk away

There was a good selection for breakfast, including cereal, bread, marmalade, honey, etc., and two delicious yoghurts in the fridge. Milk was also provided along with a good selection of teas and coffees. There was a fire set for lighting (although we did not need it). The central heating was very good and there were also electric blankets on the bed, which was large and very comfortable. We loved the lounge which had a vast array of books and magazines. A short walk to town and enjoyable walks along the river.

The Old Vicarage was tastefully decorated with period furnishings. The facilities provided were comfortable and more than adequate. Di was a very helpful host The position was within walking distance to the town centre and the river was across tge road. It was a delightful and memorable stay. We will be back

Very clean, good quality bath products, nice breakfast supplies and very comfortable beds. Location is good, quiet, and within walking distance of town. Excellent communication too.

Not much not to dislike.

Location, spacious and would be very happy to return there. We only stayed one night, which was a shame as there was so much see in the area. So maybe next time it will be a week.

The bed with excellent linen exceptional .. fireplace ready to light and dry firewood. Breakfast great. Library shelves full of familiar volumes .. felt very at home and should have been there more than one night .. a boys trip ..loved location by the roaring river .. very warm heating

Everything I had the best time. I love antique furniture. Your Bible had very clear instructions for everything The bed was so comfortable Shower was brilliant Breakfast selection was incredible And it was a nice loop to town turning right in. You have done an amazing job and I will be back

The only thing I would suggest are a choice of pillows.

Continental breakfast is generous with lots of choices. Comfy bed.

The place was warm and cozy when we arrived. The main living area was wonderful, full of amazing antiques and curios, very spacious and comfortable with two lovely chairs set out in front of preset fire. Then the bed was so comfortable. Was perfect for us to chill and relax after doing a 3 day great walk!
