Beautiful serene garden outlook and quiet surrounds were the key to a restful stay. An outlook over lawn, flowers, weka, rabbits, fantails gives a feeling of spaciousness. Sunny and warm. Great reading lighting, comfortable furniture and privacy enabled a long stay. Fresh garden veg and home baking were a lovely touch. plentiful linen.

The bedroom is fairly dark as there is no window on that side of the unit.

Unit was clean and tidy. We were left alone to enjoy our holiday. Location was great, lovely beach and we enjoyed cycling in the area. Host provided yummy biscuits.

Very welcoming hosts, excellent accommodation where everything has been thought through, and an idyllic location. What more could you ask for?

The weather actually, since we were there during the Cyclone. But great we could stay an extra night when the next guests had to cancel. Good place as a base but not much outlook from within.

Nothing, i loved it!!!

This was actually my second visit in two years and i absolutely loved it! So peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. The baking that was left for me was soooo yum as well as the visits from Bo the dog. Totally recommend it.

I cannot fault anything about this accommodation.

This was the best accommodation of our entire road trip on North Island (13 different hotels, motels and such) in terms of the quality of accommodatio0n and facilities and also in terms of location very close to the wonderful beaches of Ohope. It was the little touches and thoughtfulness of hosts who know what travellers need that made a big difference. And meeting Bo the dog and being introduced to the Red hen was a treat. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody wishing to stay a night (or several) in the bay of Plenty area, as it is an excellent base.

Beautiful setting. Private unit with seating area outside. Tranquil and a place to relax. Homemade biscuits were delicious. Visiting dog and butterflies were a delightful treat. Highly recommended

A suggestion and not a complaint. Maybe move the alarm above the bed to another location, as the light above a person's head is very irritating.

Thank you Stu and Gail for providing us with such a lovely place to stay in Ohope. Thank you Gail for the lovely biscuits and fresh milk for our first cuppa. We will miss our daily greetings from Bo. The tranquil seroundings helped us through our difficult time.
