No fruit to have with the cereal, eg stewed or tinned fruit, I personally don't have milk on cereal or in hot drinks. No bread for toast,butter or spreads. Ate breakfast down town.

It would have been good if the rooms had ensuite's. You feel a bit guilty walking around a wooden floor at 4am.

Instructions were not good at all about getting in… also too long so confusing. I had to take spa lid off and put back on… that was hard because I have only one hand at present. Lid needs to be off for the guest and put back on by own or staff, I feel. Own was there and complained about guests asking him questions… nice man to us but not to others. Had to pay for heating and it was cold so I went cold!! Had to pay for washing machine and dryer even though it says one available. Owner eats FISH every night and the smell even in the morning was disgusting … I don’t think he likes having guest really!!! One bathroom up stairs for 5 rooms! Fridge in room but no kettle or anything … so why bother! After saying all that it was fine .and I liked Gerald. Considering.

Great supply of what one would need to stay. Gerald supplies a lot of food really and gorgeous house ..

We had a lovely stay here. The bathroom and kitchen were fully stocked and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Both the rooms and the bathroom were clean, and the property overall seemed very well maintained. The decor was a bit old-fashioned, but honestly, that just added to its charm—it had a very quaint and cosy feel.

Very awkward for parking at rear of property. One guest asked my husband to help her avoid a large overgrown tree, another guest reversed into same tree and smashed rear windscreen of his hire car, also got bogged on lawn as conditions had made it very slippery where he was trying to turn around.

Comfortable and well furnished house. Welcoming lolly jar at front desk. Great assortment of breakfast cereals, tinned fruit, noodles for breakfast, as well as assorted tea and coffee varieties and biscuits.

Only thing I'd like to comment on, is the parking at the back. Very difficult to manouevre past other cars if more than 2 parked. Room for four I think. I had to find another guest to move his car at one point & ended up parking on street.

Parking was too tight to get my work ute in down the driveway and get around trees and other cars, so had to park on road with lots of tools in the back, and also risk of getting towed (they're not meant to have visitors parking on narrow road outfront) - however if you have a normal car would be fine.

A great find for us. Very relaxing in the Spa. Beautiful old mansion. We did not eat the breakfast provided...which was quite adequate. Typical Continental style. Excellent value for a stay.
