The location of Tuscany Villas is exceptional as it is within a very short walk into the CBD of Whakatane and restaurants close at hand. The villa was very clean and the complex well kept. Very pleasant management.

The town noise was quite off-putting. Despite both being very tired, neither of us could sleep until 12 pm. Fine after that, though. Curtains and the shower door were awkward to close properly. Bed had a firm spring feel to it with a very thin top. We both have back issues, so this was actually a blessing. The pillows that we had were all very thick. So, back or tummy sleepers will probably prefer to have no pillow at all. Overall, it was ok, but a bit disappointing. For my next visit, I will choose one of the other three motels in town that I have stayed at previously, and that are all normally cheaper and more quiet.

Friendly staff but forgot to offer us milk.

I was disappointed with the internet access. As I work a lot whilst on the road, the need for reliable internet is a must. Spotty and often disconnected, decided to hot spot as it was more stable...

Enjoyed our night at the Tuscany. Bonus was the spa bath to warm our cold bones and muscles.

Amazing service, friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and cleaner was respectful and accommodating as I had a meeting online. Will be back for sure.

Decor is a little tired. Upholstered chairs show signs of wear.

Excellent location walking distance to cafes and restaurants and the riverside walk. There were very welcoming and helpful staff. Large rooms and a comfortable bed. The kitchen was well equipped. Being able to park right beside our downstairs room was great.

Facilities basic, for example, WiFi is flaky cutting out frequently particularly with video like YouTube and Netflix. Available TV channels are basic, no Sky channels

Location, walk anywhere in town to cafes restaurants and the fishing club. Bed reasonably comfortable. Shower has excellent water pressure

The spa jets didn't work. So the tub filled up with water and we could soak in it but the actual spa function did not work.

The room was clean and well presented. Also had a good selection of coffee and tea.

Although the room was clean and tidy, the curtains, in the lounge, were ripped and had spots of mould. Otherwise it had all the ammenities and was very comfortable.

Very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great location and great value.

Super friendly and accommodating staff- this will now be my go to every time I travel through Whakatane. It surpassed my expectations in all aspects. The hosts could not have been more welcoming. They even had my room heated for me upon arrival and arranged for me to use the conference room to catch up on some admin. Over and above.

Everything time I have to exit the property day or night....I have to drive up a little incline to the exit gate and wait for the automatic gate to open before I can exit. Which is a pain for me when driving a manual car......having to hill start everytime and be worried about riding the clutch every time I exit the property.

My second stay here. Very comfortable and modern rooms. A nice clean place to say at with friendly professional staff. Comfortable beds. Good value for money.

The refrigerator needed to be replaced as one leg was missing and we had to pack it up with cardboard and it was rusty.

Clean and comfortable with chairs to sit in. It was a quiet location but very close to restaurants.

Starting to get a little dated with a few obvious room repairs. But everything still worked well.

The bed was a little saggy in the mattress and the TV was not easy to operate- seemed like there may have been an internet problem? Only small things, all in all we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the location a short walk to all the eateries, bars and shops, but in a quiet area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and warm. Great parking space too.
