A delightful spacious French influenced home away from home. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were very comfortable.

The only thing I'd fault is the cleanliness around the bed. When the rooms are being cleaned, at least monthly, the beds need to be pulled away from the wall and vacuumed / dusted as my husband and son suffer with asthma. They relied on their asthma meds during the night which wasn't great.

The host was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The views were amazing. The breakfast was fantastic and yum. The location to Akaroa was good as we had a few things planned in Akaroa for the day.

Our room unit is on the 1st floor so its a bit.difficult to carry the luggage up.

Viv our host is very nice lady n she prepared breakfast as per stated in the hotel booking. The hotel is located on the hill overseeing the beautiful lake. We love the place as it is also very quiet n peaceful

A very peaceful place with a stunning view over the bay. A very accommodating owner who is knowledgeable about the history of the property and Akaroa … and helpful tips on where to eat! Generous breakfast for a great start to the day! Definitely on my list of places to return to.

Having the bathroom on a different floor to the bedroom was a bit annoying.

The bedroom was very spacious with a view of the lake, and the outdoor area was beautiful having been recently landscaped. Having the use of a swimming pool was a real treat, especially in such amazing surroundings and with a fantastic view of the lake. We were welcomed by our host Asher who was very helpful and provided with a very nice breakfast.

Maybe the handrail on the stairs to the bedroom was a little low.

A gorgeous property in a stunning location! This is a little gem! The views of Akaroa Harbour are to die for as are the surrounding rural areas. We stayed in the stables and our bedroom was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely as were a lot of the touches at the B & B, like fresh flowers in the rooms. Asher was a friendly and enthusiastic host very keen to show off his establishment and promote the area. Twin Gullies deserves to do well. We were sorry to only stay one night.

A quiet and unique place with stunning views. The scenery from the bedroom was absolutely breathtaking. Although the garden is still under renovation, the beautiful flowers added a lovely touch. The bed was clean and comfortable, and we had a wonderful night here. The host, Asher, was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast provided was generous and delicious.
