Clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Lou and Tony are warm and welcoming hosts and the apartment is located right next to the beautiful clear waters of the Rangaunu harbour.

Nothing it was everything we needed.

Everything was perfect …. Clean tidy and in a Perfect location. The host… Tony and Lou were the best hosts ever!!! They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Tony was always around helping us launch and retrieve Skis and that was so appreciated. His smoked fish wings were the best I’ve tasted!! Big thumbs up and we will most definitely stay again :)

One bedroom has no power socket. Need to close all windows in evening to avoid mossi attack during night.

Nice location and in off season very quiet, handy location to get around to do sight seeing around KariKari Peninsula.

Amazing location and great hosts. Real family Bach feel . A stones throw from the ocean. Quiet and felt really safe. Shame we only stayed 1 night. We are definitely going to stay again as the area is such a peaceful and tranquil area of Northland.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the White Sands, the beach was literally a stone throw away from our unit. Our host is amazing and made sure we had everything we needed Lou made us feel as home. There is a shop on-site which comes in handy for the items we didn't take with us. Love the vibe of this place, very inviting and very warm. . Take a rod or two, pack yourself lunch and sit on the beach. The people that live in Rangiputa are very friendly

Perfect spot to relax right at the beach. Lou and Tony are great hosts, accomadating and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the garden area is a very nice spot for an afternoon beer. Thanks we will be back again

Honestly not much.

Even though the motel is a little dated, it was clean, tidy, comfy and the hosts were fantastic. Right next to the boat ramp and beach, couldn’t ask for a better location. Motel has small shop with a few necessary items, if you want a mall go to Auckland. (and stay there!)

Just a kitchenette so just missing an oven. But just cooked our hot chips on the outdoor bbq instead

We loved that it was dog friendly and we could bring our 4 year old collie. It was also a prime location, right on the beach! We also really enjoyed the outdoor seating under the umbrella with a great sunset view

Location 20sec walk from beach; friendly helpful hosts; very comfortable beds, seating & space; close parking right outside apartment; easy access to places of interest & fishing. Good value for $ :) :)

The frying pan was a bit warped and the nonstick coating flaking. But in the bigger scheme of things, this is nit picking. The bbq facilities made up for it.

It was a nice touch that Tony raised the guests nationality flag. Lou was lovely and welcoming. She kept apologizing about the rainy weather - completely out of your control, Lou. We still had a marvellous time. Came prepared with raincoats and had beautiful long walks on the beach.

Nothing..it was very enjoyable.

Great place to unwind. Very close to the beach. Great management, facilities a bit tired, but they're working on that. Bbq facilities, washing machine, Take your dog, dog bedding, dig bowll, leash and towel .
