Because the hotel is really cosy it can be crowded during the holidays or weekends. We were there during Eid and there was a big group of some schoolchildren, which was unusual for a relaxing place of that kind. Many rooms are overlooking the pool and then it’s really noisy and you can not enjoy your terrace. We had to ask to change the room because of that, luckily the request was accommodated. The hotel is significantly overpriced during holidays, I didn’t realise that until I checked the prices for other dates, almost 30% up. Toilet is not well isolated from the room, it is just a glass door, so no soundproof at all 🫣

Gorgeous architecture of the hotel, everything is very stylish and eco friendly. Located in a very isolated place, great territory with nice walks and hiking roots. Main restaurant is awesome: food is delicious and the menu is very diverse, great selection. Great spa with professional therapists from Indonesia.

During our last visit, Arafat and Eid holidays, to many kids were making this very relaxed place looking like a low level all inclusive from Turkish riviera. Staff was a little hover helmed by the number.

There was nothing to dislike at this at this resort. We loved it.

Amazing stay at Alila Jabal Akhdar. The accommodation, the staff, the food, the facilities were all fabulous. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. We booked the Hajar Pavillion dinner for our celebration and it was perfect out on the cliff edge away from everyone else, so special for us. This is a truly fabulous resort with views to die for. It is a luxury resort and the prices reflect that, but it is also a luxury experience and the service, facilities and the ambience are just fantastic. Thank you to Alila and all the staff who made our stay so special.

If I had to be super picky, I found the lighting and tonality of the lights in the room not perfect and also the water bottles and glasses next to the bed are not practical for next to the bed since when you are sleep they are tricky to open!

1) A la carte breakfast bad idea First day it was perfect, but next day ,before weekend When there were more people, the waiters mixed up my order several times, first they didn't bring it at all, then after my complain, they brought it twice Brunch ( rose place ) was tasty….. 2) Local trips told the reception staff that I ( and my husband)an elderly persons , and would like some kind of easy trip. They gave me a map and said that it was an hour-long trip. We had to turn back halfway. The couple who went with us had to call for help because they got lost. In fact, everything was much more complicated than it seemed they could have warned us about….

Honestly, this place was so magical there are no words that can describe the experience we had here. The hotel is amazing that I did not want to leave. Please stay for at least two nights, we were there for one. The lady in the hotel who guided us with the geology tour was so so helpful, she recommended us going to Oman Across Ages museum, which was one of the highlights of our tour.

The only downside that the hotel should improve is the food. The food is indeed very good, but it’s not WOW as the rest of the hotel. Such place should WOW the clients in their food test too. There are a lot of dishes varieties but it’s missing very simple dishes and wow test. The food is 6 on 10 for me.

Everything is perfect. The room the swimming pool and all the facilities. Staff really nice. Worthy for the experience.
