NetherlandsThe WiFi connection was poor; I had to sign in through a portal every time we moved between our room and the ground floor reception or restaurant. We had booked a room for one adult and two 8-year-old twins. The photos of the room showed two double beds, but it turned out the pictures had been taken with a wide-angle lens. In reality, there was only one large comfortable bed and a simple fold-out bed that had been added.
The included dinner and breakfast buffets offered a lot of variety and were delicious. The staff was friendly and the bed was comfy.

Minoli and all of the other staff members at Al Falaj were as helpful as ever. I always enjoy my solo trips to Oman and coming back to Al Falaj, makes it that more special. I also like the food selection, and as a non-gluton eater and dairy intolerant person. I always find something to eat. My room this time was lovely as well and I look forward to returning in the near future. Thanks again, to the staff at Al Falaj for your exceptional hospitality. X 😀

GermanyAl Falaj Hotel might not be brand new, but it shines in cleanliness and upkeep. Our room felt warm and inviting, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal – only a few minutes by taxi (around €5) from both Muttrah Souk and the Corniche, making it easy to explore Muscat. Breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide and varied selection that catered to every preference. Still, the most memorable part of our stay was the team working here. Friendly, welcoming, and always ready with helpful advice, they made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. Their smiles and willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression. I left with only positive memories and would gladly return to Al Falaj Hotel on my next visit to Muscat.

OmanI like this hotel for my reasons, so I would like to mention a few improvement points which are small but can improve a lot to the hotel 1. In the room, there should be a wall clock to tell time, as well as it is a must-have item to be there at the hotel room. , aesthetic view 2. TV SET UP BOX is to be placed properly at the proper stand type , not just put anywhere hanging, looks bad. a simple board may be fixed with the TV side to place the set up box. 3. Hotel Gallery HAS THE CARPET, which is good, but same time, the carpet requires care also. Few locations on the 2nd floor, a gallery between the rooms, there are smells, and the same smells in the lift area also. 4. Room#205, bedside table - missing, but for 208, it was there. THE SAME ACCESSORIES IS TO BE MENTIONED FOR ALL THE SAME TYPE OF ROOM. 5. This is very important- Electrical socket location is very odd- how to use the electrical kettle provided to make tea, as its wire is too short to reach the odd location electrical power point.
I like to stay at this hotel as I have stayed there since 2004 when I entered Oman for, first time. So I have very sweet old memories attached to this hotel. 1. Its location is very good, the temple is nearby by besides the local market, and 2. Some very good vegetarian restaurants are also there. I used to stay earlier through my company, booked, and a few times, personally booked. Even by walking in the winter season, we used to walk to a nearby area, but this summer time, of course, we can not walk, so by car is preferable to go here and there. 3. Sports facilities, tennis, table tennis, gym, health club, and especially, a badminton court are very good. Overall, I like this hotel and prefer to stay there, in case I am visiting Muscat.
