How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The fact that housekeeping was not available to clean the room and also when room was cleaned, the coffee etc was not topped up and also towels not changed. Bed was not made up to arrival ready.
The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. It was clean on day of arrival. Friendly front staff.

I changed two rooms because of smoking smell. The watet quality at the bathroom was not good, but better than before. They need to install filter and replace the filters regularly.

It was good the stay and the staff specially at the reception. I had some hygiene issues as my bedsheet had hair and the pullover cover wast clean. Upon requesting the cleaner seemed bit rude and only changed the two pillow cases. I was supposed to spend most of day out so I ignored and yes the TV doesn't work (as in no WiFi or channels display).

There was mold in the shower, quite smelly too. Breakfast very disapointing

Although it is noted as a hotel near the airport, taking a taxi from the hotel to the airport still takes over 20 minutes, so it’s not exactly close. There is a construction site nearby. The showerhead in the bathroom is fixed and cannot be detached for use.
The hotel is relatively new, and cleanliness is not an issue. The front desk staff are very warm and friendly. The price is extremely affordable.

The pillow was incredibly uncomfortable, big and hard, and gave me a stiff neck. This was the only negative.
Room is exactly as pictured. It is well designed, well furnished, looks fresh and clean. The hotel is nice and quiet. It was a perfect airport hotel stay, with one small exception...

nothing really totally fulfilled my expectations.
Very nice small hotel in a residential area where not much is happening. Handy for the airport. I was coming from Al Mouj and was travelling to Nizwa the following day, and wanted to see the Amouage factory, so for one night, the location was convenient for me. And if you have a car, you can drive to restaurants and malls less than five minutes away. Hotel looked a bit empty when I arrived. I was given a very nice and extremely large room, with a comfortable bed, which was super quiet. Very nice clean bed sheet, supremely comfortable bed, tiled floor. You could have had a party in the bathroom. Everything is very generously proportioned. This is just a modern business hotel focused on comfort, so don't expect special design. It has a cafe which I didn't use. Went on a walk in the evening in the very quiet area, had a very nice beauty treatment in a random salon about 15m away, had an okay dinner at My Shrimpy. It's a great place to rest in the comfort of your room, and very handy for the airport, too.

Isolated area and far from any restaurants or shops. If you stay there you will need a car or taxi to be able to get any food.
