    Everything was great.

The place is meant for Families and Couples. If you are a solo traveller I don't recommend this place. Also this is a seasonal based accommodation I came out of season so the experience was different.

The room was big and comfortable. There wasn't anyone at the property when we arrived for check-in but upon calling the phone number provided, someone came within minutes.

The breakfast room is cramped, dirty and filled with ants. The food offered for breakfast could have been more interesting.

Lovely guesthouse with water view, veranda and loungeroom. Room was clean and spacious with all the essentials. Bathroom was new, modern and clean.

You need to call a number when you want to check in as no-one is on site except when you call. They are nearby, though, so will turn up quickly. There is no kitchen in the room or for communal use - despite what the listing might say.

    Very cozy.

The beds are not comfortable and the bathroom had a weird smell.

It was only 2 minutes away from the Wadi Shab so super convenient and the room was really spacious

There was many mosquitos going though the large gaps in the doors, you could hear everything if anyone was around, the coffee and sugar we had in the room was empty/ used and there was literally no one to help you unless you sent them a Whatsapp for them to come, also the room was not made for the following day.

    - spacious room and bathroom - comfortable bed - fantastic shower panel - a sink outside the bathroom (very convenient) - friendly staff - great location - close to Wadi Shab going north & restaurants and shops going south - they offer simple breakfast (even though 3 OMR is probably a bit on the pricey side, it’s a convenient solution when you want to set out to Wadi Al Shab in the morning)

    - quite loud (not the owners’ fault but a bit of a nightmare for light sleepers): construction going on in the area, also at night; a loud call for prayer blasted from loudspeakers; additional announcements and jingles coming from a loudspeaker early in the morning - some small things like: only one cup for tea in a double room, only one socket next to the bed, no fridge

The kindness and sincere smile of the boy (from Bangladesh) in charge of the reception made us feel at home. He was very helpful and also good at accommodating our requests for breakfast, which was really abundant.

    The room and location

The beach below. It was rugged and rocky. There was construction going on a little further down the shore. There was place should improve once the construction is completed

We really had a great stay. It is very close to Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi and we loved that we could walk to the restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed the garden with ocean view.

Very clean and nice accomodation and spacious room. Terasse is great and we very welcomed clothes stand where we could dry our clothes. Electric kettle in the room. Beautiful beaches nearby - Pebble beach + Beautiful white beach (google it).

Beds could be more comfortable (one mattrasse was to hard, the other too soft :). But it was ok. We spent 4 nights. Small fridge would be great!

We enjoyed our short stay! Nice clean guesthouse, large bathroom, terrace with ocean view, everything clean. It was exactly what we wanted to be able to hike Wadi Shab early in the morning. Also check-out time was nice.

Just details.. We had to call for check-in, luckily could use the guesthouse wifi as our phones would not have worked without it. Didnt really know if we can use kitchen/fridge or not. Terrace could be great with just minor improvements like new chairs etc.

Very good breakfast. The location in town was great making an easy visit to both Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi. For those who like them, the beds were very firm, almost hard in room 102.

The booking description mentioned toiletries which were not provided. Had to ask for drinking glasses. In the booking description it also mentioned the room as 40 square meters, which was definitely not the case. The actual size was adequate but the description is a bit deceptive. The sign for the property on the roadside fence is quite small and the name is in white letters on a grey background, not easy to read from a distance. It might be helpful to mention that the hot water heater has to be turned on, something not every tourist might be familiar with.

The houseboy was very helpful and welcoming, as were the WhatsApp messages sent by the owner. Good Wi-Fi.

The sign outside the property is very small and the name Atlas Wadi Shah is written in white and is impossible to see with the result we drove past. Fortuously, further on down the road, we met 2 other guests who had checked in earlier. They led us to the house and showed us that the door was open. This allowed us to enter, and go on Wi-Fi so we could WhatsApp the owner. The property is unstaffed and The only other contact was a local phone number on the wall outside the house which would only have been useful if we had an Omani SIM - which we hadn’t. The owner needs better signage outside the property and better instructions as how foreign visitors can contact him. The bathroom floods with water from the shower. I would suggest supplying a mop. The owner could think about supplying water/coffee/tea as there is a kettle in the room and it is a welcoming gesture. Also toiletries are not provided which would also enhance the quality of the accommodation.
