Out of many houses left in disrepair on this old town section, this rose of the house really stands out. Once inside the house, your wow’s would continue for a long while. The housekeeper really spices up the house to a point we felt so comfortable staying. The meals that came with it were great. We enjoyed our visit there. While you are at this house, walk a few houses along the street, you will see a historic Oman house museum. It’s worth visiting.

The location was great, especially for those looking for a peaceful stay away from city life. Breakfast and dinner were very nutritious and filling with a variety provided daily. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and the people of Al Hamra added to the beauty of the place. Emina was a very polite host and met all our needs plus more. Definitely recommend and will be coming again.

The house itself has been renovated beautifully, maintaining its traditional features. The host is very welcoming and provided us with the most amazing breakfast on the roof terrace. We loved the conviviality at dinner time and the quality of the home made cooking.

Where to even start - its an old traditional Omani house that has been renovated as a guesthouse. The lady that hosts is amazing - friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We stayed 4 nights as we thought Al Hamra would be the best place to explore all the nearby attractions/activities, which there are many. Breakfast and Dinner were home cooked everyday and were also incredibly tasty and traditional too! Room is spacious and bed was extremely comfortable (and we are quite picky with our beds and sleep), but do note that the room is renovated to keep it traditional so in terms of furniture its a bed and nights stands, so we did live out of our suitcases, which was not an issue for us ! Another thing to note for some future picky quests - this is situated in the old village/area of Al Hamra so you are surrounded by ruins. For us that was an interesting experience, but for others it might not be

This is an old building. It has its charm but it’s old and the walls leave residue if you lean against them.

This is a lovely and delightful place to stay. The owner is warm and attentive, the surrounding area feels magical, and the rooms are tastefully and simply decorated. Both the breakfast and dinner, which are included, are absolutely delicious and tastefully presented.

We had the only room without WiFi. However it was nicer in the lobby anyway, so it did not really bother us.

It was a time warp, but with modern day facilities. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, our host Amine was very nice, everything was clean and it was very cozy.

It was a wonderful stay in Emina's guesthouse. Located in the old town of Haram, a small village, the property is a wonderful architectural gem with a fantastic roof terrace and great panoramic views of the mountains. The food is very lovingly prepared, I loved enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The room is beautiful, there are warm blankets, a very nice bathroom (with hot water) and I like the mix of modern and traditional. I was particularly impressed by the traditional beamed ceiling. The accommodation is easy to reach, there is a car park and is ideal for hiking or strolling through the beautiful (and huge) palm park that is directly adjacent. The accommodation is very safe and my every wish was met. An ideal place for travelers who want to stay in an authentic place. 5 stars and best wishes to Emina! (ps: she is a great professional photographer! all the pictures in the property are by her)

Everything was perfect. From the beautiful house itself and the delicious food (both breakfast and dinner are included in the price, made at home or by local cooks, out of local products, easily one of the best, if not the best, I had in Oman), through small details like the smell of incense all around the guesthouse, elegant design choices, and the high quality soap (available to buy downstairs!), to the host herself and the ambience she creates for this place. I loved her idea to have shared dinners and breakfasts, with her and/or other travelers. It is a wonderful way to exchange stories and experiences while building a small community of Bait Al Aali people. Emina knows a lot about the region, has interesting stories to tell, a big heart for animals and is conscious about sustainable development of tourism. The area is magical and quiet, with a palm plantation just outside, where you can stroll for hours and relax. The room was spacious, with a lot of light, a big, comfortable bed and a private, very clean and modern bathroom. Everything is freshly renovated, the terrace has an incredible view of the area, and Emina makes sure that the place feels like home you want to return to. I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!

Beautifully renovated classic Omani house. It was our favourite place we stayed during our trip in Oman, and hope to be back again soon. Great dinner and incredible breakfast spread. Owner gave us good local recommendations of what to see in and around Al Hamra. Locally-sourced and all natural soaps in the bathrooms were a perfect added touch. Would recommend this as a must stay for any friends who ask for recommendations for Oman!

This is no fault of the B&B but bear in mind that given its location in the historical village, the alleys are very narrow and parking availability directly at the B&B might be limited - but that's part of the charm.

The B&B is located in a gorgeous, historical village with a unique atmosphere, which is reflected in the overall design and decoration of the house. The whole place has a very homey feeling thanks to the host Emina, her dogs and the really delicious breakfast and dinner that you get to eat together with other guests. There are plenty of points of interest to see nearby.
