How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Salalah I had a fantastic experience at this hotel apartment. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center, making it the perfect base for exploring Salalah over 3 to 4 days. The reception staff were outstanding: warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Bathrooms can be better. Exhaust was broken and insects came in at night. Hot water didn't last long.
Location is a big plus. Just next to the gardens mall, fuel station, many restaurants. You can just walk after parking your car for the night. The guys were helpful to handle all the luggage to and from the car.

Service in this hotel is very good, staff are very friendly and supportive. Breakfast varieties are good and they can even prepare whatever you ask for. Rooms and clean and good. Hotel is in the town, easily reachable for all tourist locations. I recommend this for the people who are visiting first time to Oman

Best hotel in Salalah...! Our recent family stay was truly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is located just 10 minutes from Salalah Airport, making it very easy to reach. The staff are incredibly humble, friendly, and always ready to assist you with anything you need. Their hospitality really good. The room was spacious and, very clean. The kitchen was a big bonus and came with everything we needed, a cooking gas burner with vessels, a fridge, washing machine and other facilities like iron, cloth hangers, Hair dryer etc. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic! They prepare it as per your choice. Just a short walk away: Papa John's Pizza, the popular Garden Mall, ATMs, a petrol station, supermarket, and small restaurant. The staff were kind enough to help us visits to nearby attractions in Salalah. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so memorable! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended, especially for families. Nivas / Qatar residence.

there was a shower stall in the bathroom which was really small and there was no protection around it so the water was everywhere even if you tried to be careful.
the best personal! so helpful, paid for our taxi because we didnt have cash on the arrival, so optimistic and his smile cheered us every single day. the apartments are big, with a living/dining room with a TV, kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom. you can choose between english, arabic and indian breakfast, i had the arabic one and it was huge and delicious. if you are still hungry after, there is a little market, Gardens Mall shopping center and Chinese Village right next to the apartments. for lunch or dinner there is plenty of restaurants across the street including McDonalds and local restaurants with local food.

Our 3-nights family stay was confortable, the flat was fully clean and we found everything we need (washing machine, equipment to hang clothes, kitchen stuff, etc). Breakfast was really good with plenty of food we wasn't able to finish. The hotel staff was absolutely welcoming. We would recommend the place at all!!!

We stayed in several hotels in Oman and this was one of the best because of price, comfort and good standarts. Breakfast was also good, they lent us adapter, everything was clean, nice staff. We would stay again.

The place was dated and though the breakfast was tasty and served to us in our room, it was repetitive and there wasn't much choice. We could either have Arabic or Indian breakfast.
The place was a little dated but clean and very spacious. The staff was attentive to our needs and was quick to respond. We also liked that it was quiet and located just behind the Gardens Mall which made it easy for us if we needed anything. The place is value for money if you're just looking for a comfortable place to stay. The price was more than reasonable for the room we got and the number of nights we stayed there. Don't expect amenities or luxury services like those of 5 star international hotels. But thumbs up again for the staff who were very responsive to our needs.
