The villa was exceptionally clean and spacious. It contained all the luxuries that can be found in one's home.

Perfect stay! Beautiful gardens, big clean rooms with ensuite, well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room. Ali was very informative and had great suggestions for what to do in the area. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful villa, which was exclusively ours during our visit. The property is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, its location is convenient, being just a 40-minute drive from Jabal Shams Balcony Walk. Although we did not have the opportunity to meet the owner, Ali, in person, he was exceptionally helpful and provided excellent advice over the phone. He remained available to assist us whenever needed. I highly recommend this villa for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-appointed place to stay.

Ali, the host, is super friendly and is always available if there are any questions. The house is super sweet and has a shared living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and functioning.

The reception by Ali, the owner, was exceptional. We picked up food at a restaurant he had recommended so that we could eat it in the house. Ali organized also dry cleaning and gave us invaluable hints for the hiking. Thank you so much!

We had quite and comfortable stay in the villa. The room is clean, the living room is spacious. There are basic cooking tools available in the kitchen. The villa is located 30min away by car from balcony walk trail. Ali is a very kind host, who provided a lot of recommendations and local insights about Jebal Shams, and always willing to help.

Amazing house, great and quiet location, cleanliness and comfort. But the greatest value is the wonderful host, Ali. Very communicative, open-minded, and willing to help. He is also a certified guide, so you can use his services to explore the mountains and surrounding area.

We had an amazing stay at this villa! The host was incredibly friendly and generous, offering us the entire villa, which was clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities. The spacious backyard was perfect for stargazing, BBQs, and campfires. A 40-minute drive to the balcony walk offered stunning views. The host also took us on a thrilling 4x4 trip to Wadi Nakhr for an additional cost, which was unforgettable. He recommended some fantastic local restaurants, where we had the best meal of our trip. Highly recommend!

Amazing location, perfect for exploring Jabal Shams. Ali is a super friendly host, who is happy to help out and provide any advice you need about Oman and where to visit and what to see. The villa is in a fantastic location, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had a great time sitting outside at the fireplace and stargazing late into the evening. The host was very helpful and prepared everything perfectly for our arrival.

The location's proximity to the Jebel Shams balcony walk was wonderful, and the greatest attraction to the property. The house has three separate rooms with bathrooms, a large living room and a well-appointed kitchen. Outside are seating areas, a BBQ pit, and a swing set. There is space enough inside the gate to park three buses! Host Ali was very communicative and informative, in frequent communication by phone. He also left plenty of bottled water for us to use - I would recommend using it to cook because the tap water, while safe, tastes funny. The day we arrived construction work was being done on the road leading down to the house, making it inaccessible by car. Ali arranged to have his cousin waiting for us upon arrival to assist with getting our things around the job site. It worked out fine.

I couldn't figure out how to work the heating system in the living room, so it was quite cold. A dining table with western tables and chairs would be welcome, although eating on the living room floor was an authentic experience, I suppose. There's no WiFi or internet data signal out here, so be prepared to find old-school ways of entertaining yourselves at night. It's not Ali's fault - no one out here has internet access at home!

Nice accommodation with a shared living room and kitchen, ideal as a base camp for hikes in the nearby mountains.

The Jebel Shams Villa is located in a small mountain village , close to the neat city of Al Hamra & to Wadi Ghul. The Balcony Walk Trail is also not far. Ali is a perfect host, he took time to explain us everything in the villa & also showed us the area. Would stay there again every time!

We absolutely loved the villa! It was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. The property is very affordable, offering 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 well-maintained bathrooms. One of the highlights was the cherries available within the compound. It was such a delightful touch! The owner, Mr. Ali was exceptionally helpful and guided us throughout our stay, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay.
