The whole apartment was quite dirty. Every single kitchen utensil, pots and pans were unusable trash. There was one glass, no spoons, no oven mittens etc. There were no bed sheet cover for the blanket which is quite disgusting. There was a lot of stuff we had to buy for our stay. The Sifa area is far away from the city, no proper services nearby. The closest grocery is around 1h drive away.

The whole resort area was super nice, especially beaches nearby and the pool area. The host was kind and helpful, all our questions were answered quickly.

There is a kitchen, but not even a pot to cook. There were no sheets for the blanked. We just got a blanked (and needed it) but no cover for it, very unhygienic. The place was probably once very nice, but now a lot of furniture looks damaged. To expensive for what it was.

The pool was amazing. The location was nice, very clean area, but as a help to find it: it’s inside a guarded neighbourhood/resort. The whole area feels a little bit unreal, with only ecpensive restaurants. We never met the owner but he answered fast on what’s app.

The cookware is really basic and not in the best shape - just one old and beaten up pot, one pan (there was a second one which lacks the handle), just two plates, two cups,... So if you like to prepare your own dishes, prepare for some improvisation. The grocery shop in the facility is very basic, and as the grounds are a bit remote, buy your food in Muscat before you drive down.

The house is new, nicely furnished, nice neighborhood, kitchen appliances are of good quality and complete. Easy access to beach. Quiet.

Not many cooking vessels, spoons etc. Very small apartment but suitable for a small family.

The whole property was very quiet and peaceful. The view from the balcony was beautiful and especially the sunrise in the mornings were perfect. It was a peaceful couple of days for our family. Would highly recommend for a small family. The swimming pool was big, clean and near the beach with great view,

The place stank. I don't know what had been cooking, probably nothing since there were few pots and pans, other than two banged up frying pans, one of which had no handle. The two plates looked sad, one with chips in it. Not much in the way of cutlery, the knives were bent. Plugs didn't match sockets. (I actually found that funny.) The plaster work looked scuffed everywhere and in desperate need of spackling and a coat of paint. The living room floor light didn't work. The outside patio area had trash. Upstairs, the drapes were inexplicably dirty. I didn't trust the bed linen so I slept fully clothed. The mattress was a 2 inch weak foam, I've seen yoga mats with more comfort. Closet doors that didn't close. Some reviewer mentioned the SPAR grocery store, fine if you're on a diet of candy and ice cream. The lack of food may explain why somebody desperately took a bite out of the coffee table. (See picture) And did I mention the smell? I was booked for two nights, I checked out after one, and regretted not sleeping in the car.

Let me start by saying that I do not understand the positive reviews. The building is in a gated community, probably about ten years old, with limited signage. The door was unlocked with the key inside. The property is a section of this development called "beachfront" but it really isn't on the beachfront. There are about three rows of houses separating you from the beach, accessible by a pleasant walk. The beach is magnificent. And the properties are attractively designed, from the outside.
