Not many places to eat near by. If you stay here it's best to have a car.

Amazing Beach most days we were the only people on it ! Jorge was the best host! We feel like family now! Breakfast was great! Definitely do miss this hidden gem!

Beautiful location overlooking the ocean. Private beach access. Jorge was welcoming and incredibly enthusiastic of our visit and organized a special full moon bonfire. Made us feel very welcome and prepared an amazing breakfast .

Owner, Jorge is very welcoming. He took us, his guest, to a very nice restaurant by the sea. He made breakfast for a small fee. Graciously offered to drive to places if he had time.. The villa was sparkling clean. It is located right on a beach. Doggies are welcomed

Absolutely wonderful! A gorgeous place on the beach, private, quiet, well maintained, cooling pool, beautiful flowers, plants, birds, delicious breakfasts! The host gave us wonderful suggestions for dining nearby, also.

It is very difficult to find. Best to call ahead and let him know when you will be there. But we had no phone number & Booking is nearly impossible to contact. Other people found it for us.

Absolutely gorgeous! The host is wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, muy simpatico! The property itself is incredible.. bougainvillea all over, nicely landscaped, small but clean & cool pool. A/C in room with access to a kitchen, patio, views to die for! Beds were very comfortable. Felt extremely safe. Gated community. Beach is empty! I saw Only 2-3 people! Lots of waves. Good surfing. Also the breakfasts were magnificent!

It's a very beautiful house with everything you need to relax and have a good time with family and friends. Don Jorge was a great host and he made a yummy breakfast. I'll definitely be back at this place again.

Great Location with a wonderful View and direct Beach Access. Silent surrounding, you feel the Beach is yours. Jorge made the stay special, giving a lot of Information about the Country and went out with us for dinner. Highly recommended to stay there!

It would have been great to have a selection of restaurants that were closer.

Jorge was a great host. Breakfast was very good and his location right above Playa Palmar was excellent. We upgraded from a downstairs room to adjoining rooms upstairs with a balcony - well worth the price.

Secure private villa ideally located on a mostly private black sand beach, pristine swimming pool surrounded by well maintained gardens, private balcony overlooking the ocean, community kitchen, availability of washer and dryer, and Jorge our host who personally cooked our morning breakfast, toured us around the area, was a wealth of information about Panama, and ultimately a friend!!

We weren't expecting the bathroom to be separate from our room, but I may have not noticed that as I was quickly booking and it was only a quick stop. I think other rooms may have a connected bathroom.

Convenient stop on our way up the coast. The property is beautiful, especially in February with so many bougainvilleas in bloom. It's on a hill, so the view is amazing and it's a quick paved walk down to the beach. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we had to leave! ;-)

Jorge was a fantastic host! He brewed fresh coffee for breakfast; every morning a different blend. He had tons of suggestions for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, etc. He even supported us with our real estate search. His property was on an elevated level from the beach, providing beautiful views for sunrise, sunset, etc. Access to the beach. Nice size "sitting pool" allowing to cool down and read.

The Host and Owner needs to be careful with the repetitive comments about Dog races (my wife didn't like the comments regarding Pit Bulls, as we have one Pit Bull)

The beach view is outstanding and the house garden and pool are in a perfect symphony.

CafeGourmet was incredible!!! Johnny, the owner, was so kind, accomodating, and went well above what was needed to make our stay so wonderful. The pictures of the villa on line only show a fraction of its beauty.....it is AMAZING!! Johnny cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. We ate out on the veranda over looking the ocean ejoying his delicious coffee. He was the kindest host I have ever met. We are already planning a trip back!!!

Late night weekend noise on the beach.

Wonderful location on the beach. Host was generous, knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and cooked great breakfasts at a good price. An all around fabulous experience.
