Debra was so friendly, helpful and welcoming even before we arrived! 😊 (She even made sure , that we took the right busses and transport to get to her) The Casas felt like pure luxury to us! The outdoor kitchen has everything you could possibly need, even provides coffee and tea and was very clean (as the rest of the house!) Comfy room and bed, big hammocks and the private garden was a big plus! Felt a bit like home for a few days !

Water could have been hotter, but it was no big deal...plenty warm enough for a comfortable shower. Towels were microfiber, so they didn't absorb the water very well...but it wasn't terrible. Other than that, the place was amazing.

This place was awesome. We were tucked away with our private garden with a couple of adirondack chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views of surrounding mountains. The kitchen looked well stocked, but we didn't use it since we were there for only 1 night. Warm water in the bathroom and good water pressure. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer...but we will be back when we have more time. The host was very kind and helpful...she even helped me carry my bags to the room since I have to use a cane to walk.

Nothing significant. The bedroom and shower could use an upgrade to make it comfortable for a longer stay. Also some really loud and horny guests next door lol (no fault of the host)

There is no seperate room to relax in, just two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. Lots of dogs outside that can sometimes make noise at night.

Big bedrooms with large beds. Great shower. Location is nice and quiet but a bit away from the town center. House is very clean and well maintained. Good wifi. And near some nice hiking trails.

Loved the attention to detail for things that were important, such as fly screens, kitchen utensils and appliances, ear plugs to block out the barking of neighbourhood dogs (ubiquitous throughout Latin America) and the place was very clean. Debra was so friendly, communication was easy. The location is great, close to the spectacular India Dormida hike. I would be very happy to stay again next time!

The accommodation is beautifully situated on the edge of the village, overlooking the hills that form the crater rim of the volcano. It is clean and equipped with everything you could wish for, and the host, Debra, is incredibly friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and only regret that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

This is a special place! Ideal location close to hiking trail entrance and not far from great restaurants in town. Private sitting area in yard with amazing view and landscaping. Open-air, well-stocked kitchen. Clean, bright and beautiful accommodation. I slept better here than anywhere else I lodged in Panama. Would definitely return. Debra host was friendly and helpful and spoke English. This is an eco-friendly place that composts and recycles. This place and area one of my favorites!

The folks in the village certainly like to celebrate and they use fireworks to do it. That's something that you should look out for.

Our hostess Debra was very kind and helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensure that we had a good experience. The facilities were as described and the environment very peaceful and relaxing. It was great waking to the bird song and watching the mountain peak each day. Everyone in El Valle that I've met was friendly. What a nice place to live. A very memorable stay.

Lots of stray dogs in the surroundings that howl during the night, which is a bit annoying (but not the accommodation's fault).

The 2 bedroom house is spacious and perfect for a family. Equipped with everything you may need. Nice porch with hammocks. Walking distance to the beggining of India Dormida Trail. Parking space and short distance to the center of El Valle.

Alhtough it’s far away from the center of El Valle, neighbour’s dogs make it very hard to sleep without ear plugs. Towels are not changed daily. They ask you to wash your dishes, even though you’ve booked an apartment - that’s something you don’t tell your guests to do, you just keep your fingers crossed that somebody though them how to behave. The property is pretty far away, close to India Dormida trail, but it requires a taxi ride for anything other than that.

Cool place with a terrace for chilling out. Cosy enough with good and strong wi-fi. Maybe a bit pricey for what it offers, but we still liked it.

Maybe a microwave oven could be added to the kitchen. A small one for popcorn. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. We had a wonderful time and everything was nice and cozy.

The kitchen was really nice to cook whatever you needed. You can get food supplies in all the markets in town. The location was right outside of town with a beautiful view.
