Everything was great. Laundry service. Very very polite staff. Great beer served at the reception, great location, great kitchen and wonderful garden with pool with various places to sit down and have a drink, dinner og relax. There is a jacuzzi as well. They helped us calling a taxi at the right to get to our bus too. We really liked it.

The swimming pool was petty murky, so I avoided it.

Lovely quiet location. Staff were great. Excellent kitchen facilities with a large grocery store close. Shopping facilities close by. The grounds were beautiful.

The first time I stayed here, I arrived late in the evening and did not have an opportunity to truly experience the hostal. This second time though, I arrived early enough to experience the beautiful gardens and visit the pool. Hostal Chambres en Ville is a truly beautiful place, and I must express again (as I believe I did in a previous review) how much I appreciate the kitchen and the complimentary coffee in the mornings.

I the staff made me feel welcomed and were so friendly! The common spaces were cute, the wifi worked well, the price was fair, the kitchen was lovely, and the free coffee available in the morning really made my day. I felt safe and comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

Located in a pleasant area, 10 min walk from the busy bus terminal. Local eateries, burger king and supermarket nearby. Lovely garden and outside seating areas. Generously sized communal kitchen. Room was just right for us. Luis was very hospitable, informative and kind.

Nice little garden. The room was small and basic. Comfy bed, warm shower. All you need for a transit stay. The oener is vety nice, speaks good english and knows places in Panama.

Location. My dislike has more to the layout of the city, David. It's a long walk or taxi ride to any of the distant restaurants and malls.

No hot water - which I understand is more or less normal in many Panama hotels.

Good for any overnight stay. Had a pool which is unusual but did not use. Good kitchen facilities. Plenty of shops, restaurants within walking distance.

The only thing I didn't like was that the pillow was a bit to big and hard for me. But I am very weird about pillows. Having said that, I got used to it and now the place I"m at has a pillow that is too small! Ha! Really, nothing I didn't like.

Everything went well. Luis, the owner, was so helpful and kind. I loved the dogs. The room was comfortable and there was air conditioning. The shower was kind of cold! Best of all, I loved the pool. It was clean and lovely. All around were gorgeous exotic mature plantings. Also lots of places to sit quietly and take in the beauty. Another good feature was the closeness to everything you might need in town. All in walking distance. The staff were friendly. There is a kitchen that guests can use to cook. On the whole, I would go back to David if only to hang out at Chambres de Ville. I would give it 5 stars in my humble opinion!! Also, the tap water tasted good there, which is not always the case in other spots.

Chambres is a little oasis right in the middle of the city. From outside the gate you cannot tell that there is a secret garden hidden inside. My kids loved the pool and played all day. The kitchen was cleaned each day. Rooms are basic with comfortable beds. The greenery and art make the place special.
