You’ll definitely need a car, as it’s not the most walkable location. The road leading to the hotel is in rough shape, with a lot of potholes. My room wasn’t cleaned or refreshed during my stay. The music playing around the hotel wasn’t really to my taste, and it was audible from my room.

The location is peaceful with beautiful views, especially from the pool area. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean when I arrived and matched the photos — no surprises there. Breakfast was included, which made mornings easy. I also appreciated the extra amenities like the ping pong and billiards tables — a fun bonus for downtime at the hotel.

Very beautiful hotel near the top of a mountain, with stunning views all the way to the ocean, including from the infinity pool. Very friendly and attentive staff. Meals were reasonably priced, delicious, and attractive. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Coronado!

The owner and her son were very accommodating. We had a very large room and balcony overlooking beautiful rolling hills. The food and drinks were fine. The lemonade was prepared by the son and is was the best I have ever had!

Wasn’t sure how to enter the building at first, but just rang the bell and she quickly came.

We loved the history and craftsmanship of the building and pool. We were unsure at first, but pleasantly surprised upon entering the inside of the building.

It was published that it has a complete gym. But it ended up that the Weight machine was not working. I even think that is not been working for a while. No cable TV. Just a tv with YouTube access.

I like the room, the customer service, the food, and the pool.

Security No power generator

There was no electricity upon arrival and the hotel has no power generator Lobby and common areas close at 8pm Staff leave the hotel and return the next day at 8am No security guard

The bedding was minimal - small thin bedcover and skinny pillows. However. Bed was comfortable, however.

It was way too far out of the way from Coronado proper. However, if you're looking for a quiet, out of the way location with a beautiful view and lovely staff, then this might be the place for you.

Do not fall for the pictures! Everything was dirty and run down, it’s a shame! Couldn’t even get a hair dryer as advertised… and forget about massage and spa services. Pool is milke, tiles are falling off the walls. Windows haven’t been cleaned in a while. Rooms and closets/ cabinets full of spider webs, didn’t unpack our luggage. However, view is gorgeous and staff was extremely friendly.

They charged for an extra bed in the room. I paid CASH supposedly to “save money” I was asked by my guest to bring her sister along. BUT, an extra $30 for the next night was also asked for and I paid up front. This was not returned to me the next day when I checked out even though they said they would return it to my bank account. We left a day early -

The location is fine… mountain type of experience but you are miles away from restaurants or stores so dependent upon facility to provide whatever you want

The hotel is old and not very well kept up. The pool is in need of repair. The chairs on our patio were ripped and old. the second night we were the only guests in the hotel. The manager was not there and the lobby was locked up. It was pretty nerve racking to be staying in a hotel with no one else there. I'm not sure what we would have done had in case of an emergency. The pictures online far exceed the actual look of the property.

The only thing we liked about the place was the view and the manager. Bernie was awesome, he gave us some great ideas of places to see and areas to travel to. We had the opportunity to meet his beautiful family at breakfast.

Almost nobody else was there and it was really awkward to have the cook wait to see if we were going to eat there. Sometimes we preferred to eat somewhere else but we were told the cook waited all day to cook dinner just for us. Awkward! Also it was strange to be the only people there We left a day early.
