The property needs a lot of work out of work. It needs to be thought out better plan better and then implemented.

I really can’t say I liked anything about the property other than the location. It was convenient to where I needed to be.

Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable stay near the beach and are okay with a few quirks, this place can offer a surprisingly enjoyable experience if you manage your expectations.

We booked this place last minute after our original accommodation was overbooked. While I was initially skeptical because of the mixed reviews, the price and location near the beach made it worth trying. The rooms were spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly, keeping us cool throughout our stay. Its proximity to the beach was a big plus, and despite the quirks of the property, my friends and I had a wonderful time. We laughed, talked, and enjoyed ourselves, making the experience unexpectedly enjoyable.

The place needs a lot of improvement. Paint the walls outside the building. The rooms are spacious and should have each a bathroom. No closet. No safe. The doors are not the best. No shower outside the pool to take of the sand and the chlorine from the pool, and no bathrooms near the pool. You have to go inside all wet, to use both. No microwave. The chairs outside are very uncomfortable. The parking lot is small. My room had a bathroom inside in the second floor but the lighting needs improvement. The staircase needs improvement

David was a wonderful host. And a really nice person. The a/c and the hot water was nice. The beds are huge and confy. The pool is huge. It reminds me of a glass house. It's huge the place.

Billing was a mess and we were charged by Booking an extra fee. There is noisy traffic and people talking directly outside the door and window early AM!! Feral dogs running around. Small and dark rooms, bad woodwork and sagging unsecured doors. we told staff we were exhausted from a trip NEVER THE LESS we were made to CHANGE rooms for NO reason what so ever!! ALL of our things moved AGAIN to a room right in front of the main street! We travel a lot and we stay a lot, NEVER would I stay here again, rather stay in my car!! Do NOT recommend this place, it is a dump and owners care about nothing except bookings!!

I'm not sure where to begin. Looks like scam but it doesn't. If you are a solo traveler, I do not recommend. Looks like abandoned house and it is though they renovating it... It will take time... years to finnish such project. Outside looks like a construction site and it is! Rooms smell like paint, no hot water. Our room leaked from the roof as it was raining outside. Such weird place. You have to see with your own eyes. The worst part is that they do not mention about this rennovation process and it is very important.

First of all, I had a really good and confortable sleep there. I don't mind such places, I am not easily scared. Beds were trully confortable and rooms were spacious. Air conditioner worked well, TV, fridge in the room. You can use kitchen as well.

Upon arrival at Gorgona Beach House it looks like a boarded up vacant office building surrounded by a solid concrete wall. Check in time was after 2:000 so at 2:30 I pulled up to the electronic gate and honked my car horn, no answer. Got out and pushed the button on the wall to open and it didn't work so I called the number posted on the advertisement on the wall and no answer. 10 minutes later a local showed me an old metal gate to get onto the property so I walked inside. HUGE foyer was absolutely disgusting. Dirt and trash all over the floor. No Check-In desk and no door marked Office. I started loudly saying HELLO, HOLA, ANYONE HERE?. No answer so I walked out to the pool are and the pool had a disgusting layer of green mold on the bottom. The Host finally appeared and ran my credit card for the room. As I walked up to the 2nd floor and touched the handrail my hand stuck to the filth. No closet space for my hanging clothes so I was told to hang them on the inside of the bathroom door where 2 towels were already hanging. The bed had a bottom sheet but no top sheet. When I asked for a top sheet the host said "YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL!" I agreed and he refused to give me a refund, said I would need to do it myself. Obviously I left. I can't believe Booking.com is associated with this oversized Port-O-Let and unfortunately I will never use Booking.com again.

First of all, when we got in the apartment, the curtains were not as the ones shown in the picture (fully blind) which was important for us, however the guy at the desk was helpful and offered to change our room, but we thought that was a slight inconvenience so we chose to stay not to bother. After time, we started to notice things in our room that were not looking good; such as dirt and really bad odour from the bathroom. We asked to change the room, and they let us do it. Just after changing, we realized that not only our room was the problem but the whole object (we were able to see other rooms from the hallway because of the open doors). Starting from smell, dirt and mold in the corners of the room, PLENTY of little lizards running everywhere!! (rooms, hallways), all the walls in the room and whole hotel were covered with silverfishes, spiders and God knows what more.. all cortains and furniture in the rooms were covered in white paint(?), bathroom was dirty and smelly, about the shower i dont even have words to comment. and i can keep describing. At this point we knew it was pointless to change to another room so we stayed two nights in those horrible conditions. The only positive side of this stay was quite big and comfortable bed (unfortunately with stains on the sheets) but still sleeping in that room wasn't an experience i would like to repeat. Summarizing, the guy working there was quite helpful and attentive but besides that, the whole building; rooms, hallways and shared kitchen are unfinished, dirty, and done with minimum effort to open such a place for guests. Also the pictures on booking are taken in a very clever way to cover all the imperfections which is a big SCAM and has nothing to do with real conditions in the hotel.For this price i wouldn't expect anything wow however i think cleanliness of the rooms and freedom of insects and reptiles should be a bare minimum.

The price is $29 per night cheaper on Airbnb I paid more than $50 per night on booking.com. I think Booking.com is a real rip off. It is under construction, the stairs are dangerous and very uneven, The room was filthy, the pool is cleaned once a week and chemicals added only once a week. I had to ask several times to get my room cleaned. Do not bring children the pool has very sharp edges all around. I could go on and on but I'm tired.

The place was filthy, the website did not specify that it was a shared bathroom, and it was very rundown. Such a shame, because it could've been quite a decent place. Really feel like it was misrepresented in the pictures and description. Great location though!

The bathroom was flooded with water everywhere. The shower drain will filled up during my showers had water covering my ankles. The attendant offer to change rooms but the other rooms were in worst condition than the one I stayed.The kitchen was filthy with dirty dishes on the sink and counter full of flies, dust everywhere, the mirrors dirty with a white film all over. That place is rundown and not correct to be open to guests in the middle of construction. I am still waiting for my receipt for my records.

I was in a property that was undergoing renovations and starting early morning there was banging constantly. The place was filthy with dust and the property is in real bad shape. They should NOT be operating during their renovation/ repair time.
