A nice hotel, with a lovely pool with a little waterfall. The room we booked was very spacious. The common veranda is also very nice. It is within walking distance from the town.

We missed that you can only pay with cash, but we were notified on the day so we were able to go to the bank on our way to the hotel.

We really enjoyed this property. There were plenty of spaces to relax and hang out. The swimming pool was refreshing, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very helpful with taxis, etc. We would stay here again the next time we visit El Valle.

Very relaxing location and walkable to the center of town and hikes in the area. The pool was amazing after our hikes and our host was fantastic. Would stay there again.

Loverly place

We had a delightful stay at La Casa de los Patos. The highlight was undoubtedly the refreshing swimming pool filled with natural spring water, set amidst a serene garden with ducks and geese. Although breakfast isn't provided, having a car made it easy to explore the town's variety of good and affordable dining options. The tranquil atmosphere and warm hospitality made our visit truly relaxing.

Gardens and location

The place is in a beautiful garden with birds and a nice swimming pool warm enough to swim at night too. It is a place to spend a long vacation just reading a good book in the hammock. The owner Alexandro was very nice and helpful, a very good host

We stayed only 4 nights

A beautiful garden with several sitting opportunities including a spacious porch, a nice pool made one almost not wanting to go out. Plenty of space indoor too and in apartment No 2 a very big double bed (which seems to be a rarity in Panama). Fridge and kettle are available.

If you are not tolerant of poultry this is not for you. The neighbour has a very vocal rooster. The name giving ducks are generally fine and can be fed if one wants to.

Firstly the welcome, the setting, the gardens and pool. The location was perfect for our trip to visit and walk in the area.

Sitting in the vast backyard, watching exotic birds and enjoying the perfect weather. The backyard is complete with a beautiful large pool and stream running through it.

The requirement for disposal of used toilet paper.

Beautiful country house in Valle de Anton with well appointed spacious rooms and a wonderful natural thermal water pool. So fun to feed the ducks, geese and chickens with our daughter. The host was super friendly, helpful and very attentive to details. Unique to this stay is the possibility of having a massage therapist. I have suffered from debilitating back and neck aches due to posture in my profession and one massage session focusing on trigger points and large muscular knots (different than anything I've ever had in the US) dramatically improved my pain and headaches. We're seriously considering coming back just for this periodically!

A bit far from the center of town. If you don't have a car you'll need to find a taxi or walk to restaurants, stores, etc.

Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by mountains. The pool was wonderful too, with natural hot sping water in it. There is a beautiful terrace outside to enjoy. We had a nice welcome from Alex and he was available to answer our questions and advice us. Alex has special skills to release knocks on your back so do not hesitate to take a treatment with him. This is something unique in the world.

The swimming pool was beautiful. Location was good.

Didn’t understand why there were security cameras. Hard to relax in such a safe town.
