How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

This could be a great place, but it appears unfinished. The room was stark, nothing on the walls, no coffee, no bathmat washcloths or towels for the pool, no bedside table or chair. The shower had been replaced, but needed a beaching in the old corners. With a little attention to detail this could be great! The breakfast is ok, but lots of meat, not so great for vegetarians. The restaurant served old shrimp. Wifi was spotty, better in the pool than in the room.
The pool area and bar service is wonderful. Location along the highway is good for a travel stop. Great place for kids. Fun animal statues!

With the exception of breakfast the food left a lot to be desired. Most dishes were bland and signature dishes taste far from what they were supposed to taste like. But in general Panamanian cooking really locked flavor. After all if you are from the US how many Panamanian restaurants do you know of? I coming from NY can say NONE why?because Pansmanian cooking sucks. Sorry but true, their cuisine is terrible.

Coffee could have been stronger, but his is a problem all over Panama. No soup of the day as advertised in the menu. Water of the swimming pool could have been a little bit cleaner.
Breakfast slightly different every day, which was nice. Breakfast staff speaks good English. Large swimming pool. Rooms are very quiet. Good wifi.

The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly. I did not expect much from a hotel off a busy road but was pleasantly surprised by the modern, clean room and great staff!

Food was limited with almost no veggie options. muzak that drones on and on in public spaces is maddening, could easily be more creative or uplifting. minimal room facilities--no washcloth or bathmat. no fresh towels during 5 day stay.

The furniture and linens were more than cheap. For the price charged any least you should have regular cotton sheets and not polyester. Pillows were so thin that didn’t work, those pillows cost not mor than a dollar each. When arrived, the sheets had human hair, when informing the situation, the clerk at the reception was a bit rude (an old employee using glasses) This property has no housekeeping at all. Guest should request it before noon basically as a favor. After 5 pm there is no housekeeping personnel. Besides all said, the property is good but horrible managed, if you are on budget and want to save without caring about service, this place is a good choice:

We had no water to flush the toilet. When it was restored, there was NO HOT WATER! The safe didn’t work. There were only two small bed pillows that smelled of a chemical freshener. There were big bugs in the room. When I killed one, ants invaded. When they changed the batteries in the safe, he dropped acid on the floor. He didn’t clean it up! We asked for a refund when we couldn’t get any hot water. We were going to stay there two nights. We left after one night. They would not return our money. What a mess! Paradise it is not!

Had to wait 30 minutes for our rooms even if we have received confirmation of check-in time (3 PM) in advance. Pool hours were only until 6 PM and was not posted on the web page. Breakfast was OK however not of very high cooking standards.

Air conditioning in the room tooooo coold. 65 and could no move to at least 75. Denied the pleasure to use the discotheque after we were told they will open for us. We were more than 50 ready to use the disco and enjoy the drinks. But they did not open the disco for us. Young party part of a wedding party. To bad, have the costumer travel 30 min for a drink when you have a disco in the complex.
