Nothing really, I personally prefer having a sink in the bathroom rather than bedroom but that’s a very minor thing.

Large bedrooms with very comfy beds. Staff were lovely especially the girl working in the restaurant during the day. Small food menu but good, fresh and lots of flavour. The owners were also great and gave some very good restaurant recommendations (Meren & Pier 19). Jean was lovely also, all very welcoming and beautiful beach just across the road. We didn’t go in the pool but it looked great.

We had such a fantastic time here – this place is truly a hidden gem and feels brand new. The owners are incredibly friendly and service-minded. We felt so lucky to have stayed here! The food was outstanding – definitely the best we had in all of Bocas del Toro. The breakfast was also very good and delicious, a great way to start each day. The hotel staff were wonderful. Special thanks to Melanie and Christopher – they were always there to help us with anything we needed. They were super friendly, spoke great English, and made communication easy, especially when we had some language difficulties. The whole place was very clean, everything worked perfectly, and the team really took care of everything. You can even arrange a taxi to the airport directly through them – they handle it all smoothly for you. The beach is just steps away from your room and absolutely beautiful – the most stunning beach on the whole island. this hotel is incredible. I love the location - just across from Playa Bluff which made beach access incredible. getting into town for restaurants + airport was super easy thanks to their taxi services (fair, consistent price, and really reliable). The hotel is newly renovated and blends into the jungle landscape perfectly. We woke up one morning to howler monkeys in the trees outside our room! such a cool experience. The food was also excellent and they had great vegetarian options. We'll definitely return in the future.

I wish they had some more vegetarian options on the menu and that the menu changed daily. The location is remote so it’s a production to leave and eat somewhere else.

Rooms and the pool were beautiful. The beach was very close and we could hear the ocean crashing from our room. The waves were too big for much swimming, but it was a very quiet beach and we were often the only ones on it. The food at the restaurant was all very good.

It’s about 30 minutes from the main town and the road is very bad. The taxis are a problem so if you want to go out in town this is not the right place for you but if you would like to chill by a beautiful pool and have a walk on the beach ( not possible to swim because of the current) then you will have a great time.

The food here is excellent. Truly excellent. All other accomodations are superb. Relaxing place to visit. There is a beach nearby- very nice for sunbathing, but not a swimming beach as the waves come in rough. You can still get in the water and have a good time as long as you are in shallow. The sand is beautiful and it is isolated. Great for meditative retreat.

It’s quite away from Bocas town and the roads are very rough. As a result, we didn’t go back to the main town to check it out as we had planned.

- the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful with no one. That’s amazing. But with strong waves, so it’s difficult to swim - location is a bit far from town, it would be good to have a partnership to rent a car for instance, or to offer 2 transfers per day to the main town.

The comments in some hotel reviews about the bad access road and the occasional really high waves on the beach are true, but this is not in the hotel's control and we didn't find it annoying in any way. Everything was perfect and we have nothing to criticise.

The hotel and the entire surrounding landscape are a true paradise. The operators of the hotel are extremely friendly and very helpful and are available to answer any questions with competent answers. They also gave us tips for leisure activities. The hotel itself leaves nothing to be desired and offers every comfort. Some people have written in their reviews that there are no shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity and that it is better to stock up on drinks before travelling. It is true that there is no shop nearby, but water is available free of charge at any time of the day or night. The drinks in the hotel bar can also be bought at a really fair price. And actually, you know before you book that you've chosen a hotel in a secluded location, so that shouldn't be a problem anyway. And to be honest, it's the location in the middle of nature on the beautiful beach that gives the hotel its special flair. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and we always enjoyed it. The breakfast was included in the room rate, was very good and you could also choose from different variations. We really enjoyed the hotel and will definitely be back. Thanks a lot for the great days and your excellent hospitality! Oops, I almost forgot, you can also watch sloths and howler monkeys from the hotel. Really cute to watch :)

The beach is beautiful and very spacious and access to some chairs or hammocks would be nice. They do provide beautiful blankets for the beach.

Very well designed and maintained. The style and comfort were tantamount to a 5 diamond hotel. The owners were absolutely amazing. I can not stress how important they made each and every guest feel, like you were not just a guest but part of their extended community.

It was hard to get information on things to do. The transportation offered was not always accurate and on time so you want to make sure that you do have someone coming to pick you up and take you to airport. The pool area is pretty much on your own and their staff do not come and bring you your drinks. Sometimes it was no one at the bar so that made it a little less desirable at times.

This is a beautiful new hotel resort on The bluff. This was our third time visiting the area and we wanted to try the s boutique. The pool and rooms are exceptional. The restaurant food is average and the staff were not as accommodating as we have experienced at the other places on the bluff. I know it's new and they are probably working out some of these issues but it would have been very helpful to have someone on site that was available to answer questions during the day. It would be nice to also have information about the other restaurants and places and things to do. This would be an added value to anyone coming to stay here. The location is absolutely ideal. The air conditioning is also a great plus as many of the other lodges and hotels do not offer that on the bluff.

Our stay at this boutique hotel on Isla Colón was absolute perfection. Nestled between the jungle and the sea, right by the gorgeous Playa Bluff (not ideal for swimming but stunning nonetheless), the setting is pure paradise. With only 10 rooms, the hotel offers a peaceful, intimate vibe. Our spacious room featured a large, comfortable bed and a private balcony — waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The service was excellent — the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious, making it tempting to dine in often. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Bocas Town, so I’d recommend having a taxi contact handy. One of our highlights was renting ATVs to explore the island — an amazing way to see more of the area (including the incredible beach “La piscina”) All in all, a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for tranquility, nature, and a bit of luxury, this place is a hidden gem.

It is quite far from the city centre of Bocas del Toro, therefore it is recommended to rent a scooter or ATV BEFORE you go to the accommodation, the walk is a too far ;). Besides that it was an amazing stay!

If we’re nitpicking, mattress toppers for their king beds would be a welcomed, as the mattress is a bit springy.
