Very spacious, enough place to hang clothes. Comfortable beds and friendly host.

Cold shower. We had bad luck with construction work in front of our room. We didn’t bother too much, but normally you wouldn’t expect this during holidays.

Not too far from Main Street maybe a 5-10 minute walk and close to other nice restaurants, shops and cafes. Host was very nice and friendly we were allowed to check in early which was great and he offered to let us keep our bags there after checkout too. Gave us two sets of keys which is great when you’re in a group. The listing states that there’s building works nearby and there was so this was fine for us as we knew before arriving and we wake up around the time it starts anyway. Hot shower was great as these are hard to find sometimes! WiFi was strong, oven worked and Aircon worked well.

Nothing it was a great stay

Nothing to like if you can't get any sleep or time to relax.

We noticed some heavy road work when we arrived on location infact the road was closed. Unfortunately we did booked for 2 nights with the intention to stay more if we liked the place....the first impression was ok so in the afternoon we notified the owner that leaves on location that we would extend for 2 more nights....his answer was let me know when you want to change room the one in the back is more quiet and I've got a booking for the 3rd night in your room....that night at 11.00 pm a VERY NOISY pump started just outside our room and stopped the day after at 7.00 am.....at 6.00 am I went out to speak to the workers that explained that is a daily job to pump the excess water into the sea....and this has been going on for 9 Months....that night out of desperation we tried to start the TV to cover the noise...the TV was not working...the morning after we tried to make some coffee and breakfast it was NOT gas in the bottle and the electric coffee machine was NOT working either....I've tried to message the owner on Whatsapp no answer, tried to call no answer is went to ring the door bell No answer.....finally at 9.30 after we went out for breakfast (having everything in the fridge) he was there. He was clearly very uncomfortable when he saw us and when I told him that we didn't get any sleep the answer was.... me neither....well you are obviously not a paying customer so it's not my problem....I told him that if he would have been more honest and told us straight away that that room was very exposed to that noise and offered the other one straight away we probably would have managed some sleep....when I pointed at him that TV coffee machine and gas wasn't working the answer was... not possible....at that point I've invited him to see with his own eyes....after that not even an apology the only offer from him was to move to the other room.....

Be aware that the stairs up to the bedroom are very steep

The host was friendly but had very strict hours regarding her availability, which ended promptly at 7 each evening.

There was a generator next to the lodging that had to run most of the time we were there because of the flooding. It’s a wonderful location in terms of how close it is to the beach but that also makes it prone to flooding.

Everything was great, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed

The construction around the area can be very loud at times

A very comfortable, spacious apartment with great kitchen appliances. The owner was very friendly and helpful and even upgraded us to a lovely studio where we would be less impacted by the noise from the roadworks.

The couches were a little uncomfortable but the bed was super comfy :)

Sun Havens is an excellent location for budget travellers who want independence with large comfortable rooms, kitchen facilities, value for money and well positioned for the best bars, restaurants, supermarkets in the nearby streets. The Sea is one street away. Be warned that very loud roadworks are happening outside the building which can go on all night and will continue for a few months probably until November. If you are going to Bocas for partying or diving then it won't matter to you but if you want a peaceful retreat try another island or come back another year!

Had road works just outside but it's white noise so not that bad. Would be good to have a few more kitchen utensils.

My room was clean and quiet. Service was good and the location wasn't too far from downtown. here is a store (3R mall) a block away. Overall, a very nice stay.

There was noise due to the city putting in new pipes and a sidewalk but that's not Sunhaven's fault and they only made noise during the day. They didn't have a microwave and you have to provide your own coffee.

They are very nice people and the place is super clean! I truly recommend it

We killed a lot of crucruches during our stay and see them in our bags was terrible. Also there is a huge construction righ in the door of the place, its not the fault of no-one of course, but would have been nice to be prevented as the noice was simply terrible from 6am till 19hs, and in the second night they turn on the machines a bit at 2am. Also an idea for the hosts would be to offer another room as the construction machines were just in our street window. Quite disappointed

The property for my and my family was great .

Everything was good I slept listening to the rain.

Location was good (in town) and the room was spacious.

Unfortunately, my experience was affected significantly by the construction noise from the road. Starting at 7AM every morning, trucks and tractors were operating, which made it nearly impossible to enjoy a peaceful stay or get a good night's sleep. While I understand that maintenance work is sometimes necessary, I believe the hotel should have better communicated this issue in advance or provided guests with accommodations to minimize the disturbance.

Two rooms

Hot/cold water in shower could not be adjusted properly without being scalded. House cleaning was not a daily task. Noise of outside construction.

Very spacious, nice hot shower, A/C, private entrance, no loud bars in the surrounding area, easy check-in (possible late check-in) was amazing for 2 people and would even be great for up to 4 people

At night there were a lot of bugs in the room, we were woken up by construction noises every day, even sunday. It seemed like it would be seperate apartments but it was like a hotel with big rooms, so we could hear our neighbors A bit too expensive for what it was, but still very enjoyable and comfortable!

Excellent location and good value of money. Would definitely book again when we come back

Close to shopping, dining, Main Street and Airport.

Not enough dishes, sheets or other supplies. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet tap broke. Mold and mildew on all surfaces.

From our room we could see the sea between the buildings. The room was very big.

The bathroom is very small. Everything works but it feels like everything is fixed the cheapest way. Needs a lot of TLC. Looks like I was charged more by the property and working with booking.com to get the refund.

Always an excellent, comfortable stay. Also a tip for those who want to cook in the apartment - 3R mall sells tiny packages of salt for something like $0.25, more than enough for 5 days of cooking, plus you don't have to buy a huge bag of salt. Also they sell tiny bottles of cooking oil for $0.95 and individual servings of coffee.
