Great property! Very comfortable room with A/C, fan, and private bathroom. My favorite part were the two sweet dogs (if you're not a dog person, don't worry, they are very calm and independent)! Good location - near restaurants and a grocery store. There is also a spa nearby that was excellent.

Our stay was excellent. The room and the bathroom were very clean. We could use the kitchen and all the utensils which saved us money. The house is big and spacious, close to some restaurants and a supermarket. The bus stop is a walking distance from the house and you can move around the city easily. Our host John gave us some useful recommendations.

The room I stayed at had a desk and a bed, I did travel with a laptop, so naturally I wanted to use the desk, but the only power sockets I found were on the other side of the room, so I mostly used my laptop in bed. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel the position of these two could change

John is a wonderful host. The property is ideally located. 2 minutes' walk from restaurants, supermarkets. Very quiet. All is available besides the room: a kitchen, a living room, 24 hour access, the airco, the fans, big bathrooms, a desk and chair, a beautiful patio and swimming pool. I warmly recommend Duplexu to travalers alone or in family. For vacation or for business.

John is an excellent host and I immediately felt at home in his house. The two dogs are very friendly and cuddly. The house is centraly located and there is a grocery store within walking distance.

I thought I should have received bath towels and soaps/shampoos/conditioners. I am sure had I asked John he would have provided it, but I like it there in the room when I come. I had to unpack a bit to find mine (then worry about wet towels while packing to leave).

It is more like a home-stay, i.e. it is actually a gated house with many rooms and all essential facilities. This means you feel more relaxed and safe than at a hotel/motel. There is a shared kitchen, and shared toilets, all clean and well maintained. John is an excellent host. He is friendly, and always available. The property is located very conveniently, in a nice neighborhood, with restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, etc., around. The added part is the rescue dog, Goya (that's what I guess John was calling him), who wants to be your friend and play with you. There is even a pool, which I didn't get time to use. There is coffee and tea in the kitchen. I found the place very homely and welcoming.

There was no hot water in the private bathroom. I had to use the shared bathroom for my morning showers. Also, it rained one day and the ceiling in my room leaked. Thankfully, it wasn’t above the desk where I had my laptop.

The location was second to none. Absolutely perfect for my needs. A grocery store and mall right across the main road, restaurants galore, and a coffee shop at the corner. Yet, set back in a quieter neighborhood without as much traffic noise. Like I said, perfect!

I felt that the place had not been thoroughly cleaned and that the bathroom rugs had not been washed for a long time.

Was not so clean & many items were broken (entrance gate, bathroom switch, shower faucet, wardrobe door missing, etc.)

The host is nice, also his 2 quadrupeds. We needed some new batteries for the remote control of the lights in the bedroom and the owner helped us. The location is very good: the neighborhood is safe, supermarket & restaurants close.
