Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only criticism is that their restaurant isn’t available for dinner, and it’s quite the walk to town. For us, it would’ve been less stressful than going out every night.
Loved the whole atmosphere of this place, quiet, quaint and not too far from the town of Boquete Staff was professional and always wanting to please us. Yoga, swimming and gyms available Massages & other treatments a delight.

A bit worn down. The gym has a fair amount of equipment but is very old, and doesn’t seem to be cleaned at all.
A nice (but a bit worn down) hotel. Nice breakfast. Very nice staff. Location is good - easy to walk to Boquete town.

!
Breakfast was very good! We did not eat lunch there, so I cannot comment on lunch. The staff was very helpful. The Haven was one of the nicest places stayed when on vacation.

We wanted to stay longer! If you stay longer, lack of food options might be an issue.
Amazing place! The place is so peaceful and beautiful! The room is lovely and we loved the terrace where we spend time watching humming birds. The outside hot tub and other spa facilities are nice. Staff was great!

The restaurant was closed on Thursday, which was our only full day there. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. Washcloths in the bathroom would also be nice.
A beautiful spa hotel. Courteous and friendly staff. Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were willing to arrange taxi’s and tours. Yoga and other classes available.

Taxis were readily available which was great! I like to walk however was a bit wary of few sidewalks to venture to town.
The hotel is immaculate, incredible grounds and the chef is wonderful. The hotel receptionists are there to meet your every need. The pool, yoga room and plenty of modern exercise equipment are available.

Nothing! It was amazing
The breakfast was absolutely exceptional! We were the only ones there most days. It was extremely quiet and peaceful and the food was amazing! The grounds were breathtaking also and the amenities were perfect. I loved the outdoor jacuzzi, we had it all to ourselves both times we used it and it was so relaxing. Finally the grounds outside were absolutely beautiful and I attended one of the classes and that was a great space for that also. The location was also excellent, we could walk into town pretty easily. The staff were all super nice and accommodated whatever we needed, they even partner with a local cab company to provide car service for a super reasonable price whenever needed. This was one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in due to its peaceful ambiance, great service and beautiful grounds. Would definitely stay here again!

Don't walk back after dark. It's on a very dark road, and when I walked, I didn't feel safe. Taxis are cheap. I had no problems walking to the hotel during the day.
Nice hotel, and I had a wonderful room. The menu was limited at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch, but it was definitely gourmet! I loved both the breakfast and lunch I had, and the creativity of the chefs.

Pool was reserved. Several times where we were told to get out by uppity entitled ex pats !!??? At breakfast Had to pay for each cup of coffee which was made in a machine.

The breakfast service is slow and expensive. You have to pay for an aditional cup of tea or a slice of toast.
Very quiet. Comfortable especialy the luxe rooms. Of you need transport ask for Ivan. Het is very good.

the bed-mattress was a little hard, I prefer a softer mattress, but that's naturally personal test, for sure the bedding and linens were great
the Hotel itself, the huge walk-in shower, the peaceful location of the hotel, the swimming pool, the nespresso coffee provided in the room and the little terrace with garden access

They only have a lap pool, not a regular one. So if you’re looking for this please know that’s the case.
The property itself was beautiful and immaculately kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have great facilities including a modern gym, saunas, hot tubs and yoga classes.
