Beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. Close to hiking trails, waterfalls and incredunle views. A truly special place. The accomodations were phenomenal and the living room spectacular…you can hang out in there the whole day. Great breakfast; Rai, the concierge was great and went out of his way to make our stay hassle free.

Make sure you bring your drinks and food, since Altos del María is a condominium where it's mainly expensive houses and there are no restaurants. Once you know this and take it into account you're good to go.

The owner (Eric) and the host at the location (Rai) were both super good. Fast and clear information and both collaborating to make this the perfect birthday getaway. Altos del María is nice to escape the city and be in nature. A little colder (22°C at night) and fresh mountain air.

The accommodation is lovely and the garden is beautiful and tranquil. The trek downstairs to the bathroom at night is a bit cumbersome. We slept with open doors and windows - it was cool and quiet. The location is beautiful, it’s just a bit further from El Valle de Anton than is convenient. However, Rai, the amazing host, made every effort to make our stay wonderful - and he did. So, will I recommend Villa Hermosa? Definitely.

Adorable property. Such a beautiful area, immersed in nature. The rooms and the tree house are so beautifully decorated, full of life and personality. The views are stunning, the social area very cozy and complete.

Beautiful garden environment and the interior decor is amazing. Surrounding mountain countryside is idyllic. The host was very informative with excellent communication skills. Service was also excellent. Breakfasts were delicious and quite varied each day. We looked forward to each breakfast and were definitely set up for the day. You do need a car to get around, but the views are stunning. A true 10 out of 10.

A fantastic place in majestic mountains, with beautiful rainforest nature. The villa is charming, superbly equipped with a beautiful garden. The owners are extremely friendly and courteous. It's worth staying there longer.

our refrigerator was warm(due in part to a temporary power failure) and needed more ice available to enjoy late afternoon do-it-yourself cocktails.

location is very beautiful but more remote than i expected. it is a 40 minute drive to go out for dinner , either to the village of Anton itself or to coronado. breakfast is in a lovely setting, homecooked in mexican style. would suggest adding chorizo to the scrabled eggs course to add a little more protein for us meat eaters.

The food, attention and kindness of the staff. The rooms were quite, comfy, and cozy. Bathroom was in perfect condition. It even had an Alexa for commands like turning the lights or play music. The location is perfect, close to the hiking trails, Eric will help you reach the ones you're interested or even suggest ones outside Altos del María. They cook a delicious breakfast for you and allow you to use their kitchen for you to prepare your own food. Wifi is really good for general purposes.

The chalet was super cool and made you appreciate the forest surroundings. I suggest to bring a sleep mask if the morning daylight bothers you.

No hot water in the morning, could hear the people in the other room. No place to eat dinner. You either take everything like a camping trip or you starve! Do not drive to El Valle the road is so bad for your car. Just don’t understand why there is not even one place to eat in the whole area. Also the price is very high for what it is
