We love Auquis Hostel! Hanging out in the sun drenched courtyard on a rest day with the panoramic views has been a delight. Lisandro and his team are constantly cleaning and it is spotlessly clean. The showers are powerful and hot. The rooms are simple but at this price we are more than happy. Great for families, couples and chilled out groups.

The hostel does not have heating, but the bedspreads are very warm. The terrace is spacious and gets the morning sun. The bathrooms are always very clean and the shower water is plentiful and very hot. The kitchen is basic but well equipped with gas hobs, a microwave and a clean and tidy refrigerator.

Redy, the manager, and his team are very friendly. They are always attentive and willing to help and resolve any issues. They keep the hostel very clean and tidy.

That I didn't stay before my Salkantay trek and only discovered it afterwards!

Loved it. I was booked for 2 nights but extended it by another two before I'd even spent the first night. Beds are very comfy and cosy, some people have said their room was cold but mine was definitely quite warm when you stepped in, staff were very kind and accommodating, owner Redy was very patient and helpful, kitchen is well stocked and the fridge is spotless, the showers and toilets were also spotless and the water was nice and hot. The view from my room (on the first floor) was beautiful both day and night and the outside area was well maintained and lovely to sit in and enjoy.

Be prepared that the nights in general are cold in Cusco.

Its a very nice and quit place. The beds are very comfortable the showers are great and the kitchen is good as well. The owner Redy is super friendly and attentive. I stayed here on and off for about a month and i would always return when im back in Cucso so highly recommended!!!

Nothing, everything was great! My only suggestion would be to provide doors to the showers (instead of curtains) so the cold doesn’t creep in so easily.

The place has a nice atmosphere, Rooms are big and comfy, wifi works great, hostel has hot water, personnel are lovely.

Excellent in every way. The views are incredible, there are spaces to work and relax. Kitchen and bathrooms have everything you could need. The staff are so sweet, helpful and welcoming, I immediately felt relaxed and at home here. The location is perfect - super close to everything, a super market a couple of mins away, while still being quiet and calm. Couldn't have been better. Thank you again, I'll be back the next time I'm in Cusco :)

It's a unisex shower without any doors, and the floor is too thin; noise can be heard if the room above is really noisy.

Environment : - quiet - new & clean - only 5- 7mins walk away from the square - 5mins away from San Pedro market - really hot water - clean toilet - cheap and big , nice breakfast - good view, you can see the fireworks which is from the square Host: - really nice and helpful - really take good care of you - love them ❤️

The Hostel is only 7 minutes walk to the City centre. The bathrooms are clean with hot water, the wifi is perfect, the staffs are very friendly. When I went for Machu Pichu, I left my bags with them for no extra cost and upon my return I stay there for 2 extra nights. The hostel has a cafe and their breakfast is really nice with good value.

No hot water in the evening

It is very close to the city center and San Pedro station. The staff is very helpful and super kind :) Regy (I hope I wrote it right) helped me a lot with everything. It was especially nice that he made me tea when I was affected by the high altitude, I felt like I was at home :) The accommodation also has a restaurant. They offer many delicious options at affordable prices. The hostel also has a perfect city view :)

I arrived at 7:30 am, a guy named Lisandro opened the door for me, I waited for my check in, he mentioned my room doesn't have a locker. After few minutes the owner arrived and just accused me by saying that I was demanding for a locker which is a total lie, I never demanded for no locker, I simply asked, then they said they'll put me in another room with locker charging me more than the original price of my reservation. I attempted to take a shower and the water was freezing, at night time I went to bed, and asked the lady from reception to borrow me a heater and I took it to my room, after ten minutes the owner kicked my door and forced himself inside my room without even say excuse me can I come in or nothing like that and he started shouting at me saying that I demand for a lot of things like a locker and now a heater and he said this is a shred room and you can't demand for so much. I was completely in shock by then, I was already panicking, then he just proceeded to kick me out of the property telling me to leave immediately because he was going to call the police, so he basically THREATENED ME with calling the police and on top of kicking me out he didn't wanted to give me a refund for my payment. I would like booking to contact the local authorities and address this terrible incident, because the owner of the property was totally intimidating me and threatening me, jeopardizing my physical and mental integrity and this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Nobody has to accept something like this. He also THREATENED me saying that he was going to cancel my reservation from booking so I don't complain to booking about it. I felt totally discriminated and I can't accept this kind of behavior under no circumstances I would like booking to address this issue inmidiatly. Also he has to refund my money and pay for my taxi.

NOTHING. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THE OWNER IS THE MOST HORRIBLE AND RUDE PERSON.
