Beds were a little hard and the bathroom was a little unclean. They also charge for luggage storage (other hostels do not)

I liked the capsule nature of the beds. The room was clean, the hostel had a good vibe. It was quiet as well which was nice

Music until late from the place in front and also from the hostel’s social nights, solved with earplugs. Some beds shake when people get into the room or if the person on the top bed moves, you get used to it. Didn’t like paying for storage considering we were going to return after our trek.

Beds are comfy, rooms spacious, curtains give a lot of privacy. Staff were nice. Hot water and strong pressure always available in showers. Whole place looks beautiful as in the photos, seems new. Many areas to socialise and spend time outside the bedroom. Breakfast included was good, only 1 egg, but unlimited bread, cheese and juice.

The location of the hostel is perfect, very much in the centre of Cusco. The common areas are beautiful, the beds have curtains and each bed has a big locker. The breakfast is good as well (bread, eggs, tea/juice) and the showers are hot. The staff, especially Cristofer at the reception, is very nice and attentive to the guests. All in all a wonderful stay.

Great place, clean, perfectly localed for visits or to go on tour. They also offer breakfast to go. The staff was great. I had a great Pisco Sour class with Claudia. There are a lot of other activities.

the public toilets in the lobby needs more frequent maintenance. I wish the restaurant/cafe was opened a little bit later.

It was beautiful, very picturesque. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and atmosphere. The front desk staff (Lucero, Danny, Cristopher and Gabriel) were always charming and welcoming, they also helped me print out my paperwork for my Bolivian Visa

This is the best hostel in Cusco. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean, there is always hot water in the shower and the staff is super nice. Big shut out to Christopher for being so nice and helpful. Black Llama was my home in Cusco ❤️

You can feel you’re in Peru the minute you step into this hostel! I can’t get over the ambiance, decor and vibe of the place - everything is colourful and the common areas are so comfy. They even have alpaca blankets for you to use in the common areas. There’s free coca tea in the reception which helps with altitude sickness. The rooms are clean and comfy. The best part is the staff are all so friendly to help out and answer any questions - huge shoutout to Danny, Fabrico, and Christofer for making my stay amazing! I’d definitely come back and recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Cusco. The location is perfect, right by the main square.

The only downside was the temperature of the tap water, it was brutally cold :( I understand that hot water can be expensive, but having at least lukewarm water would make a big difference, especially for guests visiting during colder months.

I had a lovely stay at this hostel! The location is excellent, it's close to everything, and the place is pretty clean and well-kept. I especially loved the garden and patio area, which added a really nice touch for relaxing. The beds were comfortable, the food and coffee were solid, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay!

The hostel is modern and clean. It has nice common areas. The rooms are newly furnished, the beds are comfortable. The receptionist Lucero was professional, nice and helpful. I would definitely like to come back.

fantastic all around! clean, hot water, has laundry services, towel rental, cafe & bar on site, fantastic and helpful staff .. no downsides! in particular, danny, fabrizio, and another overnight front desk member whose name is slipping my mind (glasses, medium length hair) were fantastic and so helpful to me. they offered help beyond anything i requested and were overall just good and wonderful people. would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It was challenging to work online as there was no room to work, I sat near the bar upstairs or downstairs next to the reception but it was too noisy to have business calls plus at times the internet went off. If you need silence to work online I wouldn't recommend it. No hot water on the tap.

I liked that they had events each night, breakfast included and the staff was nice and friendly The location and the building are brilliant. Coca leaves available for mate at the reception . Big lockers.

If I had to say one small thing it would be the breakfast; just a little more choice in for example marmelade or fruit would be nice. Now it was only one type of fruit and orange marmelade. Then it would be 10/10 :)

The hostel was very beautiful, clean, vibrant and the garden was lovely. We also really liked the coffee bar in the hostel. Also it has a great diversity of courses / activities.
