The shower room doesn't have individual cabins to change clothes. You need to do it outside the curtains or in the wet area of the shower.

Staff were not super friendly/helpful, 4 bed dorm is right by the kitchen and bathroom so loud in the mornings. Dog isn't super friendly and barked/lunged at some male guests.

It's a friendly place to arrive in peru. There is a shared kitchen. Toilets and showers are shared. The style of the bunk beds are very snug and comfy, they have curtains and their own lamp.

I just feel like it’s way too expensive for what it is. Our room was upstairs so you had to walk down the hall, down the stairs to the bathroom which is pretty inconvenient, especially if you have to get up in the night. We returned to Lima twice during our trip and found nicer places with an attached bathroom and better breakfast. The free breakfast is muesli with fruit and as I’m allergic to nuts it was just a small bowl of fruit and a piece of bread. No alternative option was offered.

its a very cosy place with an artistic touch. withing a few minutes walk from the beach. quiet at night time and super safe - great choice for a solo traveller. I would definately come back.

I was in the annex building, common areas were non-existent. Only 2 bathrooms for all of the rooms which wasn't a problem for me but I can see that it could be a problem. The main reason I left was because leaving your bags the day you check out is 15 soles, whereas other hostels have always done this for free.

Beds were comfortable, breakfast was tasty although took a long time to get. Good location.

I had a flight at night and had booked Kaclla hoping to relax on the rooftop terrace after check out. They wanted 15 soles for me to leave my backpack, so I decided to just wait in the park instead.

Maybe not much communal space, or I would say cosy communal space. Good if you like to be around people. The location is not the most convenient, not bad though - it’s between the seaside promenade and the Main Street. It takes a while to walk to the bus station. But okay if you enjoy walking as the environment feels safe and nice to walk around. The shared toilet may be a bit tight.

Nice breakfast with fresh juice. Nice jam, peanut butter and bread. Nice granola (you have to fill in a form to order the breakfast and it takes some times for it to be made for you). If you like meeting new fellow travelers it seems to be a good place due to the cosy environment. There is a house dog if you like dogs :) staff are nice.

The bathroom had no soap or toilet paper, but that's standard in South America. Otherwise good.

The atmosphere of the hostal is really nice. Nice staff, friendly people and a cozy rooftop terrace. Excellent breakfast which was included in the reservation. Good location, walking around felt safe even after dark. Unbeatable at this price point.

I’d recommend this hostel for short or even mid-long term in Lima. Located in a safe area, provides really good natural breakfast, the staff is helpfull and kind, it’s a small hostel and that gives a really calm and friendly atmosphere. Just to note, some dorms are located not in the main area but in another building in the corner of the block.
