The rooms are basic but when we remembered how much we were paying, the size of the rooms and the location, we've still given this a high score.

The location has to be a big factor here for Barranco and it's really good value for money. They were very communicative in person and on whatapp. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed using the roll top bath.

Can’t think of anything maybe a hairdryer would be useful. But I’m sure if I’d asked they would have found one - it seemed that sort of place!

Beautiful property in a great location. So pleased we stayed here. Coffee and tea available and water. Quiet. Codes to get in and out so could come and go as we pleased. Felt very safe. No breakfast but the nearest coffee shop (come out of front door and turn right) did fantastic coffee and breakfast. We turned up very late but instructions clear and easy.

This isn't a comment in general, just that there were works going on at the time that we were there which cannot be helped of course, but it did make things a bit noisy during the day. However, to maintain a place it's required so not a negative overall!

I think the best thing about Casa Caceres was the staff - Samantha was absolutely lovely! Took her time to answer all of our questions and give us great recommendations, with some insider local knowledge ;) The place was really clean and big, with great amenities and a wonderful peaceful garden, and unlimited tea! Most importantly, it has a free filtered water filling station.

In the early morning staff enters the house and you can hear that very good. It woke me up. But that is really the only minor detail.

Everything was so much ok!! Close to the city centre of Barranca. Nice rooms, fresh coffee all day. We enjoyed.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and there is a beautiful garden area in the back. It is in a walkable and safe location. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Casa Caceres is a lovely home with character and comfort elevated by an upscale interior design and beautiful little courtyard. The open-dining area with high ceilings and water fountain + tea/coffee machine is convenient and a pleasant area to unwind in. The rooms are nicely decorated and the high ceilings give the flattering impression of space. The bathroom features a pretty claw foot tub and a spacious shower, this was ideal to relax and pamper after a day out. The location within the city is ideal, just a 5’ walk to the center of Barranco with many restaurants, cafes, gallery etc. within walking distance. Most importantly, Antonio, Samantha and Alex are the perfect hosts; very thoughtful, kind and attentive to our needs and very generous with recommendations and always available when we need anything.

Not to a fault of them, the area is very active at night and you can hear the noise from the street - specially loud cars, but is the price for the location.

The house is a beautiful space, the dining space with open doors to the back garden make a great area to relax and enjoy your food or a morning coffee. The bathroom was for me a highlight, not just beautiful and spacious but the tub was just what I needed to relax. The staff was accommodating, attentive and friendly. I’d definitely would have stayed longer!

On a busy street that is hard to get picked up by a taxi due to traffic, but that seems normal for the area.

The house is so lovely! One of the nicest bedrooms and bathrooms I've ever had at a hotel. Very charming and lovely. Easy to get into and good communication from the owner (we didn't even have to pay before we had checked in?!) Would stay again if we are ever in Lima.

Casa Cáceres has a great location in Barranco. The house is gorgeous and we loved our spacious room with a high ceiling. The host was very communicative and sent detailed instructions how to access the house in advance. There is a lovely inner garden for the guests to enjoy and access to a water filtering machine. Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the communal area all day. Jose, who met us at the property, gave us really good recommendations for places to visit and a great restaurant. We only regret that we were staying just for one night.

I would prefer a better lightning in the bathroom, it was pretty dark and difficult to do make up.

We liked the convenience of the automatic look and the beautiful building with very high ceilings. We communicated with the owner via WhatsApp and it was absolutely brilliant! Room had everything we needed.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! The staff were friendly & helpful & the hotel is comfortable with amazing attention to detail. I appreciated the great outdoor space, room comfort and water & coffee. It was also a great location next to coffee shops, the Jade Rivera museum & the coastal walkway.

What a great place! Samantha and Jose have done an amazing job restoring the home she grew up in (!). Great lay out, great rooms, great showers! And they could not have been more gracious hosts. We had a large (10 people) traveling party. They had lots of space for us and were very helpful with storing luggage so we could traipse around Lima. The neighborhood (Barranco) is jam packed with stuff to do. Restaurants for any budget or food choice, great bars, and the beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. What more could you ask for?
