Creaky, moving beds. Rooms are quite cramped. There seemed to be just one bathroom per floor.

The private room with balcony is above the kitchen of the hostel (and its restaurant), when the kitchen is very active in cooking, there is a lot of smell and steam coming up into the rooms that are situated above the kitchen (some dorm rooms are possibly also affected). It would be good to fix this because it affects the quality of the experience. Perhaps an extractor fan of some kind would be good to build in? (Note this only happened some of the time, while the kitchen was active). Breakfast could be improved potentially. it is very basic.

Alfredo the host takes a lot of care to make sure your needs are taken care of, and flexible and helpful! Thank you. The rest of the staff working at the hostel were also very friendly and helpful. The private room with balcony is comfortable, the wifi worked very well, hot water worked without issues. Convenient location, very close to collectivos to the sacred valley. (Pisac, Calca, Urubamba)

the location is perfect and the ceviche cooked by the owner is fantastic. the food and people make it very comfortable. you will hear the doorbell noise because people don’t remember to take the key and knock very late in the hours also check on the hot water before taking the shower. there are specific times when it’s available

The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful. Located ten minutes walk from the Plaza de Armes, the hostel is surrounded by local shops and restaurants and gives a more realistic view of life in Cusco than the tourist areas. Great value for money.

A bit far from center

The must important part for me was the bathroom, it was clean and there was always hot water. The doormat rooms are with 3 or 4 beds, and there is a small kitchen where you can cook. Location is a bot far from center but there are enough stores / markets around

Super dirty, a family lives there and they are constantly frying things, making it my room, even my hair and clothes smell like fried food. The family is also very noisy. My window didn't close because there was a cable going through the window and it was very cold. It's very mouldy, which I believe is unhealthy and unsanitary. Reception is not 24/7. No one warned me about this or the need to bring a key- that I needed to ask for, so I came back one night and needed to be ringing the door from the outside until my roommate came and opened it for me.

Breakfast was ok for the price. Bread, margarine, jam, coffee and tea. Some beds had curtains (not mine) . Nice outdoor space

Great location, ready supply of coca for altitude and super helpful staff. I had to change my reservation due to complications with my Machu Picchu trip and the staff were very accommodating of my situation, letting me check out late and even letting me kill time in the lounge until my new bus departure time and still let me use the washing machine.

The whole place isn't like the pictures shown. The bathroom and room were very dirty, I even saw how the guy "cleaned" and at that moment I decided to change the date and leave the next day. There's no shared kitchen, you need to ask permission to the owner to use it. There's no one at the reception to speak to most of the time. No hot water no toilet roll in the bathroom.

They allowed me to check in early due to a night trip, which was very nice of them.

This is a great place to stay in Cuzco, calm and cheap. 15min walking from the heart of the historic center and close from everything at the same time. There's everything you need, kitchen well equipped to cook your own dishes. Many spaces to chill, the terrace is nice. They offer a wide variety of tours for interesting prices. And personnel is very kind and helpful. Thank you!
