PeruThey did not have a restaurant. You have to eat at the beach or in your balcony which is great but at night I fell like going to a restaurant. There are a few restaurants within 5 blocks, which is Great.
Very comfortable. Great balcony and view of the beach. Enjoyed having breakfast and lunch in the privacy of my balcony.

United StatesThe property was hard to find, I don't think there is a sign or big house number anywhere, the moto driver and the locals did not know where it was. There is a small house number scribbled with sharpy on the metal part of the wall.
The property was really nice. It was a footstep away from the beach. The room had a nice big comfortable bed and a fridge with which they provided 2 big bottles of purified water and white wine. The pool area / terrace just outside was spacious, and you could cook and eat your food while looking at the beach. The bathroom was nice and big. The streaming services were nice on the big TV. God communication through WhatsApp and the staff was nice and attentive.

United StatesThis property does not have any restaurant or food options on site thought it does claim that on booking.com. There is a catering service and a very limited outdoor kitchen area. The market nearby does not have many options so we ate at restaurants. The second bedroom is very small and stuffy and does not have any air circulation. There are several cats that roam the area and if you leave the doors open the cats come inside and also always surround the table when there is food. The “private pool” is basically a whirlpool tub not a swimming pool. They are very responsive by text and offered an upgrade that was not available for our length of stay. We ended up checking out early. It is also a bit away from downtown and the road is dark and pretty deserted at night.
Clean pretty well designed villa with a very attentive staff member who mostly stayed on site.

AustriaThere's a problem with insects, no crickets, that made our stay very uncomfortable. We could find one or two in the pool. And of course we couldn't use it. They were inside the cupboards and the mini fridge. They told us it is normal as the location is in the open. They should fumigate and use nets. The authorities must take care of that road and horse riding must not be allowed on the beach. They should keep the beach clean too.
The staff is incredible, the beach is a few steps, comfortable villa, a few restaurants near by.

PeruWe were truly disappointed by our stay after these reviews and photos. Cockroaches, deceiving photos, noise, poorly managed, and unclean. Cockroaches - We saw multiple cockroaches in our room. Normally I would say “we’re at a beach, some bugs are normal” but when the cockroach is on the bathroom counter crawling all over your toiletries or falling from the ceiling onto the couch, it is a matter of hygiene. There were also termites. Deceiving photos - We booked our room 12 hours before our stay based on ocean front villa pics. Upon arrival they took us to a room at the very back of the property that looked at walls and the public walkway. No view, no privacy. They claim that upon booking you get to see photos of your specific room, but I saw nothing besides ocean view villas. When we booked, the staff was insistent we pay via a link outside of booking.com and wouldn’t agree to let us pay upon checkin, it seems specifically because they know anyone who comes to see this room would leave immediately. Inflexible, unhelpful management - We asked to be moved and they said that there was nothing else available. So, we asked that they charge us a penalty so we could go somewhere else. They said no. We talked to Alejandra, the manager, and she was truly unhelpful. The only options offered were: 1) Pay $1,500 (over 3x the price of our booked room) to rent the main house 2) Cancel our reservation and IF someone else books our room, they would give us credits to stay with them in the future. If no one books, we lose our money and also pay for a new place to stay. Neither of these are viable options. They seem to have a speech about this prepared so this likely happens a lot. Beach chairs - No one takes in the beach chairs, so prepare to clean sand and bird poop off them each morning. Noise - When a group rented the main house, we could hear everything until 1am. Beware that if the main house is rented, you will feel like you are a guest on someone else’s vacation.
