Couldn’t really find any issue. It was a great place.

Great location, friendly reception, superb room (twin with balcony), warm showers, unique layout, very cool. Nice breakfast. On a tight schedule, we were disappointed to only stay one evening.

Damp and musty, but to be expected in rainforest climate with large river in town.

Great service and unbeatable location in the heart of Agues Calientes

The room was a little bit cold in the morning and the evening but maybe because of the mountain weather. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

Close to a station, a ticket office and a plaza with many restaurants. Also stuffs were very kind and they helped us a lot to figure our plans there.

Sitting in a valley with two rivers, Aquas Calientes has a damp feel about it. Hotel is a bit musty. Don’t let that put you off. Open the doors and windows, and it soon clears.

Quirky hotel just off the main square, handy for shops, restaurants, tickets and the station. Great breakfasts (eggs cooked to order). Great staff too. Possible to leave luggage before/after check-in/out.

unfortunately, the cold from outside make it hard to sleep when you have to become a cocoon to not freeze. *also, being right off the 'Town Square, loud speakers from what I guess are people trying to get a lottery of tickets to Machu Picchu? Annoying as it goes on all day into the night.

Beautiful hotel w/ breakfast downstairs - super. It was on the top floor - 5th, and without heating or cooling - the outside air keeps it rather cool inside. Bathroom had aluminum panels over the shower, so you can really feel the cold air.

    Very Good Stay

There is no hotel fault with the weather but the rooms are not ventilated, you can only open the balcony door so the room itself is as humid as it's outside. You can feel it, you can slightly smell it, wet towels and clothes just remain so during the stay. Wish some ventilation/dehumidifier be there.

Location is the best. The town itself is tiny so everywhere is very close anyway but the hotel is a little bit more private and the train noise is barely hearable! Breakfast, facilities, comfy bed - all great. We had some issue with the hotel water but this was quickly fixed by the reception and was great for the rest of the stay. The pool was not filled and out of use booking the hot tube was possible (be aware however that it's located inside the patio and has zero privacy)

The bathroom was a bit old and the ceiling had muld on it The main light in the room was flickering, but the lamps were enough

The location was great. The room was big with huge bed. They also allowed us to keep our begs for the day. Really nice balcony.

It’s a very humid climate in Aguas Calientes and the hotel is up against the cliffs so it was musty. I took allergy medicine which helped.

The staff here are very helpful and friendly! Wonderful people. Yola was kind and informative. The rain was so peaceful to listen to at night. Thank you for everything.

We had to climb 5 flights of stairs with our luggage to get to our room. The room had an overwhelming musty smell, I’m assuming from all the rain they get. We expected a hostel and overall we were not disappointed to stay there one night between traveling and seeing Machu Picchu!

The property location was ideal. We got to the train and bus stops as well as restaurants easily! Room was comfortable and shower was hot!

We had a sliding glass door to a balcony. It was not possible for us to lock this door, which made our room feel insecure.

The breakfast staff was wonderful! And the free breakfast was key for our hiking and train schedules.

The room smelt of humidity. That doesn’t go away easily unfortunately and doesn’t give a great feeling of comfort sadly. The staff at breakfast didn’t even say hello when we walked in and didn’t ask us if we wanted eggs - we heard other guests who walked in after us ask for eggs but it was too late by then.

Good location, has potential to be great! It has some beauty to it and bed and shower we’re comfortable. (Great pressure - best of all hotels we’ve been in in South America including 4-5* hotels!). Breakfast offer was quite good - they had nice breads available.
