We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaOur room was on the top floor. There was also a laundry room and clothes were dried here. It is a bit strange for a hotel to go through the laundry room to get to your room.

The rooms are clean and spacious, very quiet at night. We had a two bedroom apartment on the 5th floor with amazing view! The staff is very friendly and accommodating: they provide us with heaters as there is no heating, turned on hot water outside of regular hours and packed us breakfast in the morning when we left for tours before the breakfast time. Besides, we could keep our luggage there for free during our 3 days travel to Machu Picchu.

United KingdomThe building is not dissimilar to other budget end hostels in that the building tends to echo which means you can hear your neighbours coming and going. Nothing too disturbing though, people were quiet during unsocial hours.
The staff were very friendly and helped us arrange taxis for our trips to macchu picchu and to the airport

The front staff were so nice at anytime. Even at the late check-in and the early morning check out, they welcomed to support my request. They sell water at the street price so I bought twice. The hot shower was strong enough to warm your body up.

Staff is kind, smiling, and super helpful. Every day, they prepare delicious, fresh breakfast, and we could leave our luggage safely while heading for Inca trail. Thank you, chicos! The room is really nice, simple, but with everything you need. And hot shower with good pressure ! We had fresh towels and toilet paper every day. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. On top of that, the room is warm and quiet. Great location. Perfect stay!

United StatesI got the small one bedroom and I felt it looks way smaller than the photos. The window is to the stairwell so you really can’t open it. The drains were a bit slow to drain and the toilet seat was broken.
Staff was very eager to help and friendly. New towels every day which is a great value for the price.

United StatesRooms were cold even with small space heater; windows let in a lot of cold and sound like a dog barking throughout the night that kept waking us up. Being on the 5th floor with no elevator was not ideal. Lots of questions asked at check-in that seemed unnecessary.
Location, value for price, kitchen, overall space, breakfast. We also loved the hot water available for showers and the view from the windows.
