Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. It has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. They also have a well-cared-for pet that adds a nice, homey touch.

The shower water was just luke warm, but tm I think Ibtook my shower too late. The owner explained to me how this system works best, but I think I was outside the time frame at 11pm.
Spacious room and bathroom, clean facilities and bedroom, comfortable big bed with warm blankets. Room felt warm enough to sleep. I was thankful for that. I changed to this place for one night because the previous place around the corner was too cold to sleep and had icy cold water in the shower. The owner organised me a taxi service to the airport which was just perfect.

Highly recommend this accommodation in Cusco! The rooms were very clean, the hosts were very friendly and assisted us with any requests. Breakfast included was an added bonus

The room had 4 separate beds which I did not know and it saved us when our train to Aguascalientes was so far out, I only wish I had found it sooner to stay there more through the day! The place was cleaned comfy and the check in times were very accomodating, I highly recommend if you have a long layover, are waiting for a late train or just want to stay there!

The rooms were quite bright at night, and there was some noise from the airport (which we expected) so bring your earplugs.
Simple place to stay for the night that is just a short drive from the airport. Check-in was easy even though we arrived late, and they were able to arrange an airport transfer for early the next morning. The place is very basic but it was exactly what we needed.

Hotel room and facilities were very good. But the staff behavior lacked basic humanity. We had booked 3 days back to back tours through the accommodation. We successfully made the first 2 days tour and then got severe altitude sickness on the 3rd day. We were not able to move a leg. The accommodation staff were rude on that 3rd day and denied us breakfast and showed their face. They rudely kept telling us you have to leave now. You are late. You are late. They dont even have the basic courtesy of understanding that our health was down due to altitude sickness and kept rudely pushing us.

Spotless... Everything new, fresh paint. Quiet. I made the reservation 2 hours before arriving and Patricia was very accommodating.

The property is located almost next to the airport, but it's not within walking distance to get inside the airport. Since the airport is located very close, I could hear the sounds of the airplanes taking off very clearly from my room.
When I arrived, the room I stayed in was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable, especially after a long day of walking. It was nice to return to a comfy bed. The staff member who checked my friend and I in was very friendly and helpful.

The location didn't have any restaurants or places we could get food close by. It was also near the airport so you could hear the planes taking off every now and then.
The hosts and driver were extremely friendly and they felt like family. They also offered free airport transfers and transport to most places. The breakfast was also freshly prepared by the lovely matron of the guest house. Extremely affordable.

Super stay! Our flight was cancelled and we more or less stranded here. The check-in close to midnight was really easy and they even made us some eggs because we were really hungry. I would come again!

Close to the airport so expect some noise from the flights (not too disturbing though)
Owners are super flexible and helped to accommodate our changing plans last minute, the room was also very clear and comfortable

The area wasn't great but was close to the airport.
The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Mercedes was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty.
