Nothing not to like here.

A fabulous place to stay in Cusco. The price should probably be higher for the quality of the rooms and the service. It's a 10-15 minute flat walk to the Historic Centre. My room was very big with a large window and bathroom. The shower was powerful and hot. The hotel is on a side street so it's very quiet all the time. The staff are great, also speaking English. Very nice fresh breakfast. Hot water for tea available all day.

It was a cold in the winter, and once you're out of the blankets you're gonna need to get moving to stay warm.

I liked the breakfast in the morning, how accomodating the staff was, the common area kitchen/eating space and sitting garden, and the bare bones nature of the accomodation that still had everything necessary.

Problem with plumbing. In the shower and sink there is either cold water or boiling water. It is very difficult to regulate the water temperature

Mama Simona is close to the city center. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had to leave my suitcase while I went to Aguas Calientes. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is excellent.

This hostal offers excellent value for money.It is located within 15 minutes walking distance of the old town ,the bedrooms are large and spotlessly clean with the hottest showers I experienced in Latin America.Breakfast is very good and Pilar is always available to help and give advice.Thankyoy so much for an excellent stay!

The most significant issue for me was that there wasn't always hot water or strong water pressure. And in this season in Cusco, this is critical. After a few days, I realized that you simply need to notify the host in advance each day and tell her when you want to shower, and then there is water and also strong pressure. Additionally, we didn't have windows facing the street for fresh air, perhaps there are rooms with windows - we didn't have one, just a small window facing the interior of the hostel.

The excellent location, close to the center with a short walk yet quiet and without the noise found in hostels in the city center. We also loved the breakfast with fresh fruit shake, the daily room cleaning, and most importantly - the host's availability and attention to small details.

The staff was really helpful, they reacted quickly on every request we had. The place is quiet but cozy. They even have a laundry service, which is done on site and is really precise.

I truly enjoyed my stay here, so much so that I extended it several times. The welcome is extremely warm, the room is spacious, the bed exceptionally comfortable, the breakfast varied and filling, and overall, one feels truly well cared for and at home. The only thing I didn't like so much were the water pipes, which often drew in air and led to longer waiting times for hot water in the shower. A bit cold room. Smoking is allowed in the enclosed veranda even though they have put a "smoking is forbidden" sign.
