communications betw day and night shifts - we stayed 3 nights before our trek and had reserved 1 & 2 nights after our trek. Before we checked out for the trek, I doubled checked that we had confirmed reservation upon our return. It turned out, they could not find our bother in-law & nephew's reservation. The night shift person made a manual reservation. However, upon our return after the trek to check in, they could not find our brother in-law and nephew's reservation and the hotel was full. apparently, the day shift manager erased the reservation b/c she thought it was canceled. Luckily we were able to find another hotel for 1 night. Not a huge deal, but better communication betw the staffs could have prevented the inconvenience.

Room and facilities were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Central locations, 5min walk to Plaza de Armas. Market, laundry, a few doors down the street.

We had a few issues at the start, which as we were on long days away from the hotel I thought best to email regarding - it turned out the staff at the front desk were able to sort them quickly once made aware. Cusco is a very loud city , the soundproofing was good but still recommend ear plugs. I really appreciated how the hotel listened to the issues and sorted them out for us. I would recommend this hotel to others for sure.

The staff were amazing particularly Brayan (I think is how you spell it) who was on afternoon shift so we saw the most often, and the night shift man was lovely also and arranged our breakfast box once we became aware it was an option. The room had great lighting, a lovely balcony, a makeup mirror, the hotel itself was gorgeous. And the location was just perfect. Loved the orange juice at breakfast

Beautiful hotel. Room and bathroom were very spacious, balcony etc. Staff were very helpful. I checked in early, was brought coca leaf tea to help with altitude. Great value for money!

The property was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The heater made the nights toasty and the location was fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic too.

Can't beat the location! Just a 5 minute walk from the city center near tons of shops and restaurants but very quiet.

Hotel was exceptionally clean, rooms well maintained by housekeeping. WIFI worked well for me. On site laundry service was efficient and reasonably priced.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Arcangel in the historic center of Cusco, on three occasions and I cannot recommend it enough! From start to finish, my experience was absolutely wonderful and was perfect as my base in Cusco as I went and did the Inca trail and a wellness retreat. First and foremost, the location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's right in the heart of the historic center, just a stone's throw away from all of the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. I loved being able to step outside and immediately immerse myself in the vibrant culture and energy of Cusco. But what really made my stay so special was the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I truly appreciated all of their efforts.

Just some strange noises of people coming and going for trips at odd times.

We had stayed here three days earlier so this was a flying visit on our way to Ecuador the following morning. Everything was as before. We enjoyed our last evening meal at Jack’s Cafe at the end of the road, food was excellent.

As there are people arriving and departing at strange times for tours you can hear noises so bring ear plugs if you don’t want to be disturbed.

The hotel is located within the historic centre of Cusco and within easy walking distance of everywhere you would like to visit. The area felt very safe with locals and tourists always nearby exploring as we were. The hotel entrance is straight off the road with staff around to help with bags etc. There is a wonderful large lounge and dining area in the local style with lots of wood……. can’t think how to describe but will add a photo at the end. Our room was located at the top of a flight of stairs it was clean with twin beds and has an internal view into a sort of courtyard. There is no lift to the first floor but there are rooms on the ground floor. Beds were firm and very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

it was a pleasant 2 blocks to the main square and our room had a lovely view and a balcony. The staff was extremely helpful with a cell phone plan issue. Each day there is fresh coffee and and a very good breakfast.

Due to the lack of staffing when our Taxi did not turn up to take us to the hotel early in the morning, we had to rely on the kitchen staff to help us find a solution. A huge thank you to them for stepping in and managing to find us an alternate transport to the airport!

Located A 5 to 10 minutes drive from the main Plaza, Hotel Archangel was nicely situated. A large room on the top floor gave us a view over the town rooftops. Basic breakfast and unfortunately reception only intermittently staffed. Comfortable and clean rooms with good Wi-Fi.
