Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThe room didn't have a window outisde so sometimes it was a bit suffocating, but nothing dramatic.
The staff were very nice, the breakfast is basic but good for gaining energy before early hikes, they arranged the bed and emptied the trash in the room every day. The bed was comfortable.

IcelandMy bed was wall-to-wall with the street, so there was a lot of noise (almost) all hours of the day. There was a bit of an odour coming from the bathroom, but I think that’s just the plumbing system in all of Cusco!
The staff were so nice & the location is good. It seems that most places here have simple a breakfast but these guys will happily fry up an egg for you.

ThailandWe had a window in the ceiling without blind so at 5h the room was super bright. This seems to be normal in Peru. With sleeping mask it was doable.
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We had spare dollars from an earlier trip and could pay with them. No problem to store luggage. Best breakfast we had so far: buffet with bread, granola, yogurt, cheese, ham, juice, tea and eggs. I fell ill from food poisoning in a restaurant downtown and in the middle of the night they helped me with a heater and bucket. Clean rooms and beds (it is always a challenge since I am allergic to dustmite). Less than 10 mins walk to center. Hot water with good pressure, you just had to wait 1-2 mins before it became hot.

United StatesEverybody enjoyed this place. It's centrally located with lovely staff that is attentive and sets up breakfast for you. The building is quaint, comfortable, clean, and you couldn't beat the price. There may be other places with larger rooms and more amenities (make sure to bring shampoo and such and an int'l charger), but the shower was very warm (only use the hot) and we enjoyed the old world charm.

QatarThere is no heater in the bedroom. So it is freezing cold but that is fine. I was able to manage with their blankets.
We were upgraded to an apartment and everything is complete. We were able to cook our own food. And the location is very near from the plaza and center. Everything is walking distance. The staff are very welcoming and hospitable. Everything is as it is in the photos.

Czech RepublicThe rooms were dirty, dust on the floor, mold in the bathroom and sometimes also very unpleasant smell. The bathroom was extremely small, door provided no privacy and it was difficult to dry the bathroom. The kitchen was dirty, the cooker was hard to convince to run… which would be no issue if there is any electric kettle. Don’t expect you can cook there more than boiled eggs. The fridge was also mold. In the other hand, cleaning was the only major issue, rest was acceptable for the price.
The stay was extremely cheap. There is a very good laundry across the street.

SwedenThe hostal needs updating interior. The rooms are on different levels accessed by stairs, so not for those who have difficulties moving around. I stayed in an apartment that was quite big, but did not have access to daylight. The existing windows all faced interior corridors. The lack of daylight made it dark. The hostal has rooms facing the street with balconies, those would have been lighter.
The hotel looks very nice on the outside, but the interior lacks tender, care and love. Could be lack of finance after the pandemic years. The breakfast was nice. The staff, especially Eddy was supernice. The price was low, so do not have too high expectations.

United KingdomThe steps to the property but this was obvious in the property description so no complaints. The clue was in the description of “infinity steps” 🤣
Lovely place. Host communication was excellent and very helpful. Was surprised when I got off the train to the host was waiting for us. He suggested getting our bus tickets for the next day that very evening to save time the following day. The steps to the property were a lot but the host raced up the steps and fetched me a walking cane to assist. He also let me borrow it for the next day to use at Machu Picchu which was a great help. I would definitely stay here again!!
