The lodge was was amazing. They thought of every detail from the hammocks, the bug net, the turndown service, to the breaks between excursions to relax.

-Although they say that there is no Wifi, there is and finding out about that on our own was a bit dissapointing, I wish either there was really no wifi or it was told us from the beginning. -There is no electricity in certain hours, although it doesn’t really affect the customers, it did affect us on our first day since we couldn’t attend a nature trip in the afternoon and it was way too hot without the electricy -There were a few issues with the trips. During the introductory session, we were told that Gamitana Farm tour was suppossed to be a fruit tasting tour. After we arrived at Gamitana Farm we found out that due to the season we won’t be able to taste fruits, which was actually my only reason to pick this tour. Again, it was not certain if there was going to be a Canopy Tour the day after so we had to squeeze our program too much.

I haven’t been to any other lodges in the Amazon but I believe this one is the best. The rooms are beautiful and you feel the ecology in every step.

They advertise the program as a la carte and that you get to choose your activities with your guide when you arrive but in fact there is very little flexibility and they decide your itinerary before you get there. We could do the boat activities on Friday nite and Saturday morning, which we notified them about and our guide was very upset at us and we did it see him after that. The rest of the guides we had were lovely and very helpful.

The food was good, the lunch and bkfst menus didn’t change but the dinner menu did. Had vegetarian and vegan options. Property is beautiful as are the rooms, very well maintained.

Our guide was a bit lacking.

The lodges were all well constructed and decorated to suit the traditional rainforest style. Love love the hammock in the cabana. The restaurant was amazing too, offering a lot of different food styles. Staff were friendly and hospitable. We saw a lot of capybaras and Caimans during our excursions.

The final day there didn’t seem to be a plan for activities, as day 1 seemed to begin on the day of arrival, regardless of what time you arrived. We had to really pester for them to organise something, as we didn’t really get a day 1 due to a late afternoon arrival.

I would add a pool table and boardgames, and a small playground for kids. It was lacking entertainment in between excursions.

My wife and I have been travelling all over the world for over 12 years and this has been our favourite hotel to date. The staff, nature, amenities, rooms, everything was perfect. I can not recommend this property enough for anyone who is looking for a luxury introduction to the Amazon. The guides were the best part of this trip, they are so informative and incredible at what they do and they care so much for the nature they are in and the job they are doing. On top of the hotel's already beautiful surroundings and abundance of wildlife the staff made the experience 100/10. David, Yordan, Armindo, Xiomara and Fatima we're absolute rockstars, thank you for a beautiful trip!

The only negative was the lack of A/C and the fact the fans didn’t run all the time. But we were in the Amazon so we didn’t expect it. It was hot and humid though.

Had a lovely time at the inkaterra. Our guide Nixon was amazing and very knowledgeable he had a story for everything. Thank you so much for looking after us and showing us the Peruvian Amazon which was a dream come true.

The only thing I would mention is I don’t think I got any wake up knocks for early morning excursions (other guests mentioned they too didn’t hear it)…this is minor as I had my own alarm. thank you for a wonderful experience.

David was a wonderful guide, the meals were amazing-so impressive there was so much choi s considering the remoteness. All of the staff were deeply kind and considerate. i loved the cabins, excellent mosquito coverage too :) i also had a spa treatment which was divine

Our arrival was haphazard. Hated feeling like part of package tour & wanted to be checked in quickly and shown personally to our room rather than being herded into lunch. That did stop by the evening but it wasn’t a good start. A few touches would have made the difference - a personalised schedule of tours - we were left to rather piece that together ourselves and more visible Hotel Management. It’s all very well offering a warm welcome as we disembark from the boat but after that we saw no one and there’s no concierge or management desk to go to.

Lovely property just far enough into the rainforest. We were glad to have chosen this property over the Hacienda. The place has nice open feel with good central restaurant & bar. Great to be able see the river. Good daily tours with knowledgable guides.

Beautiful Eco-lodge tucked into the jungle. Easy and comfortable place to stay when exploring the jungle. We saw tons of wildlife.

The trips seemed a bit rigid in their planning. We were fresh off the plane and there for a holiday and didn’t want to have to be up early in the morning. But the morning trips seemed to begin at 5.30 am - to which we said no. There could have been more lee way - there was no particular reason for these trips to begin so early. Also saw almost no animals at all. And had hoped to see a local village but there aren’t any anywhere near. So it was lovely and relaxing but could have had more excursions at a time that suited us. Also the food was a bit bland - hotel food. Breakfast was actually the best meal.

This is a truly beautiful place and we had a lovely relaxing stay. Enjoyed our beautiful cabin with its hammocks very much. The bed also lovely and the citronella essence perfect for keeping the mosquitoes away. Also good to visit in the winter season, when there were fewer bugs. And the staff, guides etc were uniformly lovely.

Nothing to complain about at all. The showers were tepid but were actually a welcome relief from the sticky heat.

From start to finish, our stay was a wonderful experience. We didn’t have to worry about anything. I felt like everyone really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. The lodges were clean and comfortable, the restaurant was very good, staff were excellent, the excursions were fantastic and the surroundings were amazing.
