I would prefer a buffet breakfast with some local fruits.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooftop is the best in the city to view the sunset. We had a great room, design is very authentic and charming with old wardrobe and stone basin. The bed was huge. The staff kindly took our luggage the day before checking in as we had a trip to Colca canyon.

My favorite hotel in all of Peru. Very beautiful rooms - modern and well decorated. Lovely bathroom & shower. Quiet and lovely bed. The location was amazing and I the rooftop restaurant for breakfast offered a wonderful view and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast in Peru! The staff was outstanding.

Especially friendly staff. It is clear, that they genuinly enjoy their job. We stayed 4 nights there and felt like at home. Breakfast is very good but not so much variety. Despite the location directly at the plaza de armas, it was not so loud inside.

I got a room which felt like a basement room, walking down steps and with a door facing a narrow space inside the building. This felt a little claustrophobic. I later found out that the rooms with windows that actually face the outside you have to pay more. There is no restaurant inside, only the rooftop terrace. They provide cozy ponchos but nevertheless it can be cold and a bit uncomfortable not to be able to move to an inside table.

The best thing about this hotel is its central location & wonderful rooptop terrace with a view over Plaza de Armas and the volcanoes. Staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful. Good shower & food in the restaurant.

The location was beautiful and evenings at the rooftop bar were wonderful. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating with securing safe transfers for us multiple times and preparing a to go breakfast when we had an early morning excursion we had to leave for.

So the photo of the rooftop bar looks farrrrr larger than it is. It’s very very small so be prepared. Look for the bullet hole in the clock on the cathedral. 9 oclock

Too noisy since it’s adjacent to the main square. Loud music broadcasted until midnight on Saturday and then loud speakers blasted started at 7:00 on a Sunday morning.

The staff at the restraunt/bar on roof. Very slow and not professional. Tables were left sitting dirty while they just stood around and talked. Etc. seemed to be the younger people not older. .

Absolutely beautiful accommodation. The staff are very friendly and really care about your stay. The room is just beautiful and I didn't want to leave. This is one of my favorite accommodations of all time!! The rooftop view is amazing but the food they serve is top quality.

Katari hotel in Arequipa was our favorite hotel during our Peru trip! It was in the Plaza de Armas, so you couldn’t beat the location. It was one of two rooftop terraces on the plaza which provided incredible views. Our room surpassed our expectations! It was large and very luxurious. It had a built in water purifier in the sink which is a must during our Peru trip (saves so much on water bottle expenses). When we return to Arequipa we will be staying here only.
