Very kind owner especially when my daughter got sick

Location was a little sketchy. Bed was a little hard and there was no heat. Breakfast was med-but the owner was so sweet and tried very hard. Place is locked and had to wait a long time to get in since the owner was running it completely on his own

The staff was very nice and very flexible. They let us keep the bags there for one night previous to our stay. The bed was really comfortable.

David was an incredibly kind and attentive host who gave great recommendations and cooked us a lovely breakfast. The thick wool blankets kept us warm at night, and the property is just a 15 minute walk from the main plaza and market.

A lovely family run hotel close to shops, restaurants and a supermarket. It was lovely staying here in such a friendly, helpful atmosphere. They were able to help arrange tours and excursions to all the tourist attractions.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was a very quiet location. The owner was incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We only stayed one night but she kept hold of our bags for the day as we were out by 4am for a day trip. When we returned, she let us use a room and take a shower for a small fee which was just what we needed. We also got given a bag of breakfast to take with us.

    Nothing

Karina is a wonderful host, always willing to help. She was even concerned when she didn't know where I was (on a tour), and this is with a houseful of guests!

Location is a little far from center city (though walkable). You have to ask for hot water (for shower only). Cleanliness could be a little better (e.g., there was mold on the ceiling in one bathroom, and not clean on the floor around the toilet in another). Shower head in double room sprayed all over, so bathroom floor was very wet. Key to front door didn't work.

The host, Karina, was the best we've had in Peru. She was attentive and went above beyond. We'd booked tickets online for michu pitchu not appreciating the logistics of getting there. Very last minute she managed to sort travel and accommodation ( her husband, David, has a great basic hotel there - he was a legend as well). This was well below high street or on line offers. The room was clean and comfy. Throughout the toilet bin was emptied and we were also provided with fresh towels. Breakfast typical peruvian. The area is safe and 15 minute walk from centre. Recommend mollys bar for food and live music.

To enter complex you have to press Bell to get outside gate opened by Karina or staff. Felt a bit bad waking them after a late one! I got over it.

David is very kind, gave us advice with our trips to vinicunca and machu picchu. security is top notch as they lock the door every time we go out and their family always ensure someone is in the house to unlock it for you when you come back. David even got up at 4 in the morning for us to unlock the door for our vinicunca trip. beds were clean and comfy. room is quite spacious. it is a short walk from wanchaq station, good if you’re a backpacker but not a good road if you have to drag your luggage along.

the showers are quite unstable (either very hot or very cold water) and sputters sometimes. there was a fly that annoyed us during our sleep because we opened the windows.

Very friendly hosts, helped me organize a tour to cerro de siete colores. When on the day of my departure a strike blocked many roads they found a taxi that took me through side roads as close as possible to the airport. The venue is at walking distance to plaza de armas, but already outside the main touristic area, so there are supermarkets and restaurants in the vincinity with "normal" prices
