Reviews of Casa Cusco guest house

I arrived in the night and one of my bags did not arrive at the airport, so I came later then expected. Coming from tropic Colombia it was very cold in Cusco. When I arrived I got a very warm welcome from Pilar who gave me hot thee and warm blankets to warm me up from the cold. She was very kind and helpful giving me all the information I needed and kept me company until I went to sleep. The Hostel has an amazing centered location with a stunning view over Cusco from the breakfast room. I recommend anyone who needs an affordable place to pass trough to stay at casa Cusco guest house.

The view on the city is amazing. Sadly we got a twin room when the offering on booking said twin/double room. So we had to share a one-person bed. The bed was comfortable but small. Breakfast was basic, eggs were nice. The free cocatea was Helpful for altitude adjustment.

Our room was located on the inner patio. People were allowed to smoke Infront of our door, the door was not sealed and so at 6am two days in a row we got a lot of smoke in the room, and more throughout the day. We had to ask ourselves for people to be mindful of us. I suggest not to allow smoking inside the patio or make your doors airtight.. The roof and walls were tiny so we could hear our upstairs neighbours walk en talk and whatever else. Some sound isolation would be an improvement. Breakfast improvement, please unfreeze the butter before serving. I understand it's cold in Cusco, but almost not able to use it. Also allow us to choose between twin or double room.

Nice hostel in the Center of Cusco, the view from the breakfast area overlooks the entire city ☺️ very friendly staff, everything worked well. Look for the sign ‘Casa Suecia’ not Casa Cusco!

We had a private room which was pretty basic, but fine

Amazing view and amazing host.

My Room was a bit cold and dark but for that location I was ok with that. Be ready for a short uphill walk that feels extra with the altitude.

This place was cosy and has a fantastic view over Cusco. The staff was very supportive and helpful.

In my room the dust-dry wall paint was loose and my backpack became white at the areas that leaned against the wall. That was not a problem since I could brush it off.

Yeni made our stay so welcoming. She was so attentive and lovely!!! Would stay again just because of her. Location and hostel are amazing

it wasn't very clean, the room smelled like mold, bathroom is super small and unconfortable, we found a piece of a razor blade in the bed covers
