I was quite jet lagged/suffering a bit from altitude, and the noise from the hallway and lobby was quite loud. Water stops at midnight.

Staff was lovely. Looked after my main luggage for 2 days while I went to Cusco. Organised transport from Cusco airport for me. Wonderful lady.

The hotel left a very pleasant impression. Convenient location and a beautiful view from the window create a comfortable atmosphere. A nice touch was the complimentary water in the room. We arrived a bit earlier than the scheduled check-in time, but the staff were very understanding and prepared the room ahead of time. They also provided helpful recommendations on local attractions and dining options. The hosts are genuinely welcoming and attentive to their guests. We highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

The shower situation wasn't the best. The water was cold. Even when the hot water heater ran, it didn't seem to produce hot water. It was our only complaint for the place.

The location of this hotel is the best you could imagine in Ollantaytambo. It is about 100 feet from the entrance to the ruins, which we had an amazing view of from our room. It was quiet, just a little off the square in front of the ruins. It was about a 10 minute walk to the main square where there are many restaurants due the main bridge being out. Once that bridge is repaired, I would expect it to be about a five minute walk to the square. The breakfast was good. The whole place was exceedingly clean.

Water facilities are not stable, but it seems to be a problem in the whole village. No heater.

Very nice breakfast with eggs, fruits, avocado and local bread. The family room has a view of the Incas ruins. Perfect location. The host helped with organizing driver for day trips.

We stayed in two different rooms because one night during that time we slept in Aguascalientes. And the second one was poor. No heating in the rooms.

Good location, nice stuff, breakfast. We can leave the luggage for one night when we went to Machupicchu.

not a problem- but you should know that it took us a while to find the oweners, when you arrive it may be empty, go to the corner and ask for Eureka's staff and they will be right there!

This family place is best for its location!!! don't miss the amazing jewellery store across from the hotel, it's some of the finest work seen in Peru! Like in all of Peru we were treated kindly, given great suggestions and help. The family room had an amazing view of the ruins, comfortable beds and lots of space. There was only one heater one could rent from the main office, but nights were not too cold. Puma, the hotel cat, was the sweetest addition to our stay! Seriously, get some wire wrapped jewellery at the tienda across from them! :)

AMAZING Hotel with Sweet Host and cute kitten named Puma <3

This is not the hotel's fault but something to note: currently there is construction of a bridge and cars cannot get to the hotel. You must be dropped off at the main square and walk down a hill and over a temporary bridge which can get muddy in the rain. Regardless of this temporary inconvenience this hotel is worth staying at! Also, the rooms are located up some stairs so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you.

Quiet simple Hotel with super sweet host and adorable kitten (We love you Puma!) Breakfast was scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, fruit, tea, and coffee. She even got up early to make us breakfast before our early train. Beds were comfy and warm. Clean room and bathroom. Hotel has an original aqueduct outside the main door, a souvenir market, and the ruins steps away. Super close to the main square as well (6 min walk) Walking distance to the train station (10-15 min walk). Overall a great stay and would come back!

A few dogs barking in the distance and the windows are not fully sound proof. But we were tired enough and it wasn’t loud enough to keep us awake. Light sleepers should bring ear plugs !

Comfortable place. Helpful and cheerful staff. Great breakfast. She offered to make scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice for us too. And the view from the room was great ! They also sent someone to pick us up from the train station.

    Nothing. Everything is perfecto!

I would really recoomend Eureka Lodge. The location is pefect. Above all, customer service is great. Special mention to Mr. Miguel. He assited us the moment we arrived the property. We have 2 large luggages and he brought it up to 2nd floor. He also helped us with our Machu Picchu arrangements. He booked taxi that would pick is around 4AM and coordinated our luggages to that taxi so we would not go back to pick it up. He assured us about its safety and everything else. He told is to enjoy and we felt so reassured and focus on enjoying our time. It’s the best stay we had in Ollantaytambo. He also speaks fluent english and he very welcoming. Kudos!

They lost one of my clothes items with the laundry The last day was mother day and the staff was different. He was doing his best but was not communicating enough (not providing updates to our questions) There was not enough food for the clientele for breakfast on mother's day because they did not anticipate and did not buy enough which was not great.

Lovely location and room. We did not have the same room as in the picture but it worked out OK. It did not feel cold and we had hot shower. The staff was nice and breakfast quite good. They are pet friendly too and quite accommodating They do laundry service

This delightful family run business is the best value-for-the-dollar in lodging I've ever enjoyed. As the pictures demonstrate, the Incan archaeology site is right there, as is a delightful town square (the other main square in town was nice to visit, but would've been too loud to sleep next to). Our one bedroom was pretty small, but that's what we expected.
